Our holiday home is a half-timbered house in "Little Venice," the old fishing houses in front of the city wall and is bordered by the Werra, the Werra Bridge and the old city wall. In the 1990s it has been lovingly renovated and has been modernized since then. Families with children are welcome! Cots for toddlers and high chairs are included at no extra charge. The ground floor is used by a café with beer garden, from which you can also be taken care of on request. The space Treat yourself to something special! Bad Sooden-Allendorf Bad Sooden-Allendorf is a wonderfully preserved half-timbered town and is located directly on the border with Thuringia and almost at the geographical center of Germany. Nestled in the beautiful Werr Valley and in the nature reserve of a charming low-mountain landscape, the city offers many leisure activities and is the ideal starting point for hikes on premium hiking trails in the Geo Nature Park "Frau-Holle-Land", by bike on the Herkules-Wartburg bike path or by canoe on the Werra. The three upper floors form the residential building. On the 1st floor you will find the spacious living room with a balcony, an open kitchen and a guest toilet. On the 2nd floor there is the gallery, the large bedroom (double bed 180x200) with a bathroom with bathtub and the small bedroom (double bed 160x200) with a shower room. On the 3rd floor are the two guest rooms (a bed 140x200, a sofa bed and two single beds 80x200). Amenities: The living room includes an HD TV with cable and internet access, as well as a home theater system. Kitchen has a large ceramic hob with 5 burners, convection oven, microwave and dishwasher. In addition, there is a coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle. The refrigerator has no freezer. A washing machine is also provided. Tips from the landlord: Bad Sooden-Allendorf is a classic spa town and for recreation, the Werratal-Therme with its saltwater and the diverse sauna landscape also offers one of the few remaining degrees in Germany. At the Border Museum, you can get an insight into everyday life at the German-German border and at the Sole Museum you can discover the 1000-year history of salt production. In addition to hiking excursions, the city is also an ideal place to visit Kassel, Göttingen, Eisenach (Wartburg) or Erfurt.
