Welcome to Beacon Hill, Seattle - named the best city neighborhood in the West by Sunset Magazine! My sweet house is in the heart of Beacon Hill, within 2 short blocks of the light rail (with direct line to airport, downtown, Capitol Hill, U of Washington), a great market, library, a stellar brewery, great local eateries, bars and charming coffee shops...and 2 stops from Safeco & Century Link stadiums . Also 4-5 blocks from bus lines, a public golf course, huge city park, & great playgrounds. The space Large rec/media room in recently remodeled basement, with cozy new queen bed with memory foam topper. Plenty of clean pillows and bedding, plus a space heater if you’re ever cold. Flat screen TV comes with Roku access for streaming shows. There is a small fridge and microwave for your eating and drinking enjoyment, plus an electric kettle and Keurig coffee maker. The bedroom had a large mirror, and iron to help you look your best, a desk and a comfy sofa chair with ottoman. The room includes a closet and ample shelving. There is a private entrance from the room to outside. A clean and modern 3/4 bathroom is on the same floor of the house, just a few steps away from your room. Guest access In addition to your bedroom, you'll have access to the 3/4 bathroom on same floor, and the private back deck. You can also sit out front in the comfortable lawn chairs overlooking the street. During your stay I am frequently around and almost always available via phone, text or email to answer questions about the room, house, or local area, or to help with any concerns. The rental unit is part of a family home, with children. We ask for (and offer) minimal noise most of the time, and insist on quiet time from 10pm on. We will respect your need for quiet too! Other things to note The room is technically a daylight basement room, but has limited natural light as the windows are under an exterior deck.
