StarHill Farms is a rolling 300+ acres nestled between Mill Creek and Sandy Creek in Austin County, Texas. It is located between Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Our Ranch House is an Original late 1800’s Dogtrot House that has been restored and relocated from New Ulm, Texas to our panoramic landscape. A large front porch allows you to enjoy the sunsets and the expansive rear porch overlooks the 15 acre Big Pond and the Mill Creek valley below. Fishing, Hiking & Horseback Riding Available. The space The Ranch House on StarHill Farms was an original dogtrot style home built in the late1800's. The dogtrot is a style of house that was common throughout the Southeastern United States during the 19th and 20th centuries. The main style point was a large breezeway through the center of the house to cool occupants in the hot southern climate. It was originally built around the corner from StarHill Farms on Post Oak Point Road, which runs from Hwy 159 near Industry to FM 109 near the Eckermann's Meat Market in New Ulm. The house was relocated from Post Oak Point Road to the current site overlooking a panoramic landscape around 1993. At that time, we enclosed the breezeway creating more living space and modernizing it. The house was further renovated with custom fixtures, one-of-a-kind antiques, reclaimed wood, and an expansive deck overlooking the back fields and Big Pond. FEATURING: Spacious Living Room. 4 total Bedrooms. 2 Bedrooms are Downstairs with a King Bed in one and two Queen Beds in the other. Upstairs has a 2 Bedroom Loft with a Twin Bed in each. The Loft is accessible from the front porch in keeping with the late 1800's style home. There is a map of StarHill Farms in your cabin/house for your use. There are hiking trails and points of interest on the map for you to explore. Fishing – There are three ponds and two creeks on StarHill Farms property for your use and enjoyment (Catch and Release Only). You can fish from the dock or at the shoreline. Bring your own bait and tackle to fish the ponds and creeks for Catfish, Bass, Perch, Bluegill and Crappie.
