This lovely 1882 cottage, The Artist Cottage, is located on the 20 acre private property of the historic Springwood Inn. The cottage is historic and has charm with 12 ft ceilings, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen, laundry room, living room with decorative fireplace, small front porch, and a back porch. There is a 9 hole disc golf course, a pond for fishing or exploring and an older tennis court. PET FEE OF $50 PER PET BE PAID TO OWNER ON ARRIVAL. Contact Springwood Inn for long term rate. The space This cottage has total privacy and yet is only about 7 minutes from downtown Anniston. The property surrounding Springwood Inn is filled with many dogwoods, magnolias, crape myrtles, and flowers of all types. An older tennis court sits across from the cottage. There is plenty of space to keep bikes. If guests love fishing, the pond has bass, brim, and catfish. Surrounded by trees, it’s lovely to walk down and explore. Also, fun is to be had playing the 9 hole disc golf course. Lots to do if one wants, but just relaxing can also be quite nice! Guest access Guests of Springwood's Artist Cottage have much space to explore on this wonderful 20 acre site. The owners are happy to drive bike riders to Anniston's bike trails if needed. Plenty of parking space is available on Springwood's private acreage. Being surrounded by beauty, tranquiity, and privacy, yet still very close to downtown, this cottage is very special in what it has to offer. Other things to note A bike rack for cars is available if guests need to borrow it. PETS will be ACCEPTED. There is a $50 FEE PER PET due to owner upon check-in. Maximum of three (3) PETS permitted.
