PUSCHKIN Vacation in the World Heritage Site: Russian colony Alexandrowka. In the historic center of Potsdam is the enchanting and luxurious apartment (3 rooms, including 2 bedrooms) / 4 people / 85 sqm living space). The apartment with its own entrance is located on the ground floor of the 2018 renovated single monument with its own garden area, seating area and view of the garden. Right in the historic center of Potsdam is the enchanting and luxurious apartment (3 rooms for up to 4 people - 85 square meters of living space, of which 20 square meters is private terrace/garden area). The apartment with private entrance is located on the first floor of the individual monument, which was completely renovated in 2017/2018, with its own garden area and wonderful views of the garden. The adjacent street is a dead end and has reduced traffic. You will stay centrally and at the same time with views of the countryside in the World Heritage Site - in the middle of Potsdam's historic city center. The Belvedere on the Pfingstberg with castle and park are just a stone's throw away. The city center can be easily reached on foot in 10 minutes or in 5 minutes by bike. Just a few meters away is the "Russian Tea Room", where you can enjoy breakfast or Russian specialties. The house has been completely renovated with a lot of love for detail. The apartment "Pushkin" on the first floor offers contemporary comfort in a historic shell, e.g. massive (partly historic) castle planks, a designer bathroom and a modern, fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is unique in its effect due to its color scheme and the restored historic ceiling paintings. The apartment has its own area in the historic garden, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the garden of the historic monument and have breakfast, a glass of wine in the evening and relax after a day of "city pavement." In autumn, our guests are invited to taste the fruits of the many fruit trees in our garden. All “old varieties” from the time of Frederick William III. In the apartment there are 2 bedrooms each with a double bed (1 x 160 cm, 1 x 180 cm). One bedroom is semi-open to the living room. Bedding is available free of charge. The modern granite kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge-freezer combination, stove (induction), oven, microwave, coffee maker, espresso machine (Dolce Gusto), toaster and kettle. A highchair is available for a toddler. In the luxurious bathroom there is a spacious shower with a rain shower. Basic towels are provided free of charge upon arrival (1x large, 1x small per guest). The apartment on the first floor and the duplex (upper floor, attic) can be connected by the internal staircase to a large apartment for 12 people with a total area of 250 square meters. As part of the Potsdam Cultural Landscape, the colony is an independent UNESCO World Heritage Site. This exposed location is uniquely beautiful, but also has its limitations: Parking directly at the house is unfortunately only possible to a limited extent (parking disc 8 am - 6 pm, 2 hours). You can load and unload your vehicle right next to our property. Afterwards you can park free of charge in the front area of the Russian colony for an unlimited period of time. No visitor vehicles are allowed to park on the property due to monument preservation requirements. Please understand this! The Russian Colony is a green oasis in the heart of Potsdam. Due to the location in the city center, you can still hear the sounds of an urban location. In the apartments you will notice little of it, because we have placed great emphasis on sound insulation. In the historic gardens, you will experience the vibrancy of the city center. Due to its central location, our gem has a very good connection to public transport, a bus stop about 100 meters from the house and the tram in 2 minutes on foot. There is a free Wi-Fi connection (100 Mbit) available. We welcome all guests personally and, if desired, are happy to help with advice and assistance. I was born in Potsdam and have some insider tips ready. HOUSE RULES: The apartment is suitable for allergy sufferers. For this reason, no pets are allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. For the final cleaning, we charge €80, which is paid on site at key handover. Bed linen and towels are available to our guests free of charge. The rustic and unique individual monument was renovated with a lot of effort and attention to detail: Please understand that we provide a deposit of 200 euros with your booking. We are happy when our guests handle "her" with care. We have solid wood flooring throughout the house - we want all guests to enjoy this uniquely beautiful floor for a long time. Guests are asked to remove their shoes in the house. Of course, we have slippers available for our guests! Check-in is possible from 3 pm, and check-out must be by 10 am. Attention!
