Cozy ranch house in an historic working apple orchard. Located on RT 4 in Mendon, we are just 6 miles from Pico and 11 miles from Killington ski areas. Great restaurants are just 3 miles down the road in Rutland. Shop in our store and bakery, stroll our orchard and visit the chickens, all while enjoying some spectacular views. The space Get to know our free-range chickens and ducks, whose coops are next door to your house. The two downstairs bedrooms - one with a full bed and the other with two twin beds - share a full bathroom. The upstairs bedroom - with a full bed, not only has amazing views of the orchard, but also a full bath and AC. The house has a full kitchen with a Keurig, living room, dining room with drop-leaf table, plenty of chairs to move around as needed, and small back porch. We are family friendly with easy access to our pool in the summer. The in-ground pool is semi-private, shared only with my family. Pack-n-play and other baby necessities available. Pet friendly, with prior arrangement. We have a fenced in yard for your pooch. Please bring a crate for your dog if you plan to leave them alone in the house. Even the best behaved dogs can act out when left alone in a strange place. Other things to note Please note, the house is set close to the road. We don't notice it, but road-noise may be an issue for you. Also note that we do not have a washer or dryer in the house.
