A Quirky Accommodation Ideal for Two. Our Lodge retreat with Hot Tub is nestled away in the quiet countryside of Monmouthshire. Also ideal for walkers within a 40-minute drive to the Brecon Beacons. 5 Minutes' drive to the nearest Castle in Raglan. we are 5 miles for the local shop in Raglan and 10 minutes from the town of Monmouth. THIS SITE Is Not Ideal for Children [no under 18's please]. The space The Farm lodge hosts a double bed, underfloor heating, Double glazed and is insulated. Newly Fitted Super-fast Internet (Starlink Satellite) in August 2023 and HD Smart TV complete with streaming apps Ideal for rainy days and cosy evenings. It has a small table and chairs for 2. In kitchen area, equipped with fridge, gas hob and grill, along with microwave, kettle, toaster, Slow cooker & Air Fryer. There is a full bathroom with a shower and toilet for sole use next to cabin. The others side of the cabin, is the Hot Tub, included in the price and all to yourself. Outside space: there's, a Charcoal Cement BBQ that can be used as a firepit also for your own use along with table chairs and sunlounges. We provide all bed linen along with guest towels too. We do not accept Dogs due to other dogs on the farm being reactive. The Lodge is surrounded by a small picket fence. Guest access We are a fully operational Farm and so farm need to be respected like closing of gates - Guests have access to public footpath through farm and the whole of the Garden area. Other things to note The nearby river Monnow is a great resource for outdoor fun, from canoeing and kayaking to swimming and fishing, or simply for taking lovely walks along the river bank. There are plenty of interesting things to see in the area, such as local castles or the incredible views from the Black Mountains just a short drive away. The beautiful town of Monmouth is a 10-15 minute drive away, and has lots of excellent shops, and delectable restaurants for many interesting days out over the summer, as well as for Themed days out and the famous Monmouth Music Festival in July, markets, cafes and restaurants. If Castles are your thing then Usk is 12 minutes away, with Usk Castle and its great farmers market as well as Raglan Castle just 7 minutes away, Abergavenny castle and museum is a 20 minute drive away or there is Skenfrith Castle just 18 minutes away or Chepstow castle just 30 minutes drive For those wanting just a short walk within a couple of miles we are surrounded by rolling hills and woodlands on our doorstep with a public footpath through the farm.....why not explore and see where it takes you. For those wishing for a more adventurous walk we are situated on the edge of the Breacon Beacons and are spoilt for choice on the number of walks and mountain climbs that are available to us. with a short 30 minute drive to Abbergavenny you can choose from populare walks such as ...Skirrid Fawr walk, The Blorenge walk and The Sugar Loaf walk as well as many more.
