Tucked away in a quiet secluded valley just 3 miles inland from the North coast lies Hendra Retreat. Set in a peaceful location away from traffic. We have 3 modern barn conversions here that offer year-round accommodation with self-catering facilities for those who prefer an independent break. Piglet's is a spacious lovely contemporary and stylish barn with free parking We are just ten minutes drive to the coast and ideal for families. The space We are family run and you have 2 neighbours from the other barns. Please keep noise to a minimum at all times and be very quiet after 10pm especially if you are in the garden . Any groups of youngsters age 25 and under please enquire prior to booking. Piglet's is a very modern spacious barn that sleeps 8. It is split in 3 levels. Entrance level has a UK standard double bed sleeping 2 and a family bathroom with a walk in Myra shower, WC and bath. Down stairs to the large open plan diner, lounge and well equipped kitchen and garden. Upstairs to the very large master bedroom with a UK standard King size bed and a double sofa bed sleeping 4 in total. Across the landing to a twin bedroom with 2 UK standard 3 ft single beds and a bathroom with a walk in Myra shower and WC. Facilities include Microwave Dishwasher Cooker Hob Washing machine 50" Smart TV lounge TV in each bedroom Hairdryer Blackout curtains Free Wi-Fi Parking for 3 cars right outside the property. Please park sensibly on the tarmac. Back garden has a BBQ table. You will need to provide a disposable BBQ for this to sit on top. Garden furniture is a large table and bench set, Astro turf lawn and fully enclosed garden with a 6ft fence. We have a large maintained field with stunning views for families to enjoy right beside your property. Our guests tell us it is an excellent extra. We have our own spring water supply that is UV filtered to British Standards. EV CHARGER new for 2022 This is a smart EV project charger. You will need to download the app. You will need your own lead. All instructions are beside the charger. Prices are currently 80 p per kwh which can go up or down and £1 connection fee. The price reflects the installation costs, the yearly costs and the convenience of being able to charge on site. Guest access Shared utility room with laundry facilities and a tap outside for wet suits with a washing line to hang them up. Other things to note DOGS There is an extra charge of £40 per dog per stay (max 1 dog) This has to be paid prior to arrival via air bnb. Guests to bring all bedding, cage etc. No dogs are to go on beds or sofas. We have a field for your dogs. Dogs to be kept on a lead at all times. All poo to be picked up and put in the bin by the recycling. Any damage to anything will be charged to you . Internet is usually very good however we are rural and occasionally lose it . This is out of our control and cannot be responsible for it . No smoking in the house but in the garden is okay. No parties or events. Be respectful and quiet after 11. Check in is anytime after 4pm Check out by 10am prompt. You will incur an additional charge of £30 per hour thereafter. After 12 you have to be gone and will be charged a full days fee. Respect other guests. We DO NOT charge a cleaning fee like most people as we want to keep YOUR COSTS down . To help us We ask guests to Put the recycling/rubbish out, Do all your dishes general tidy up We can charge extra cleaning fee if not done . A huge help to us would be if the beds were stripped . Travel cots and highchairs are available. Guests are to bring all bedding for these. Please let us know in advance should you want one. We also have 2 more barns next to each other, sleeps 4 (Owl's roost) sleeps 4 (Milking parlour). They have the best sound proofing as the walls are very thick. Check in is at 1600hrs. Early check in from 2pm if we can staff this for an additional £25.00 to be paid in cash. Please let us know in advance. We are away from passing traffic. Peace and quiet yet 20 mins to the main A30 Opportunity to spend time with nature and beautiful calm surroundings.
