18th century stone cottage in the beautiful Usk valley

Self catering cottage, originally built in the 1800's, restored and extended to provide a high standard of accommodation. Set in private gardens with outstanding views across the Usk valley. The garden area provides 2 large decked viewpoints, Private parking. The property has retained it's original stone spiral staircase which might prove difficult for guests with mobility issues or the very young. The space We are close to the local reservoir who have a range of activities including fishing, nature walks, sailing, wind surfing and a lovely guest centre where you can enjoy a meal while looking over the lake. A short drive will bring you into our local historical town of Usk and it's own castle. Cardiff, Monmouth, Tintern Abbey and Chepstow are all within a short distance along with the beautiful Brecon Beacons. The Sugar Loaf mountain can be seen from the cottage, great for hiking especially enjoying the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside. Guest access The cottage has it's own private driveway with parking. It is set within 23 acres of grounds and has beautiful views over the valley. The only things you will hear are the birds and bees, it is a great setting for peace and tranquillity. The cottage is ideal for the small family but not suitable for hen parties.
