Our brick fronted home is earth bermed on three sides so it is very efficient and safe in storms, but what really makes it unique is how open it feels inside. With high ceilings throughout and numerous sky lights you will never feel like you are mostly underground. The floors are acid stained concrete that have been sealed and polished along with rugs in many areas. These are great for reducing allergens and getting really clean. We recently updated the heating and cooling to a mini-split system. This means that each bedroom can independently set their temperature preference along with the temperature in the open area. There are two desks spaces with office chairs in the open area. There's also a large desk in the master bedroom, the dining table, console table and bar to find your perfect workspace solution. The home does have Wi-Fi that can usually comfortably handle one device, but service does vary. Cell phone service is usually great for US Cellular and ATT. Have not personally tried others but it is a high elevation location and if you get service in the area at all you should get it here. There are televisions in the open area and two bedrooms along with dvds, you may be able to hotspot and stream and often the wifi will support streaming from one TV at a time. The stained and stamped concrete front patio offers many places to relax outdoors as well as the firepit area in the back. There is a large grassy area to play games in the backyard and a playset on site for quick activity options. Please note 10 is our maximum number of guests. You are welcome to use the porch of the little playhouse, it has great view. Please make yourself at home! Other things to note The mini-split remotes are the thermostats that control the individual units. They must be kept in the wall mounted holders. Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP. Any guests beyond the number listed on your itinerary will be charged a penalty at $50 per person per night.
