This area of the city has a real buzz and is a joy to explore. This apartment is however in a peaceful location late at night with no nightclubs or noisy pubs. This a great place to stay anytime but a prime location during the Edinburgh Festival/Fringe or at New Year. Public transportation is on your doorstep and will take you to any part of the city. The Old Town area is best explored on foot and is fairly compact in size. Pay parking is close by on street or in secure car park 5 minute walk, free parking 20 minutes walk. Waverly train station is 5 minutes walk. From airport a taxi will cost c £25, by tram alight on Princes Street and walk 5 minutes, by airport bus alight at Waverly station and walk 5 minutes.
