La Captive des Sables is an old sheepfold of 180 m2 renovated into a gîte ideal for family holidays. 14 km from Le Crotoy and 19 km from Saint-Valéry, surrounded by a plant paradise of 2.5 ha, including 4000 m² private. 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms. A 100 m² terrace, a 70 m² living room. A private enclosed garden of +/- 4000 m², overlooking a park of 3 ha. Included: charges, departure cleaning. Baby equipment. Optional sheets and beds. On site: mini farm with endearing animals. The space Come and stay on a mini farm just 14 km from the sea. Take part in animal feeding activities free of charge (subject to availability). Ground floor: 70 m² living area including: An open-plan, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, semi-professional oven, etc.). A dining area for up to 25 people (please note: if more than 15 guests are sleeping on site, additional accommodations must be rented if needed). A lounge for 12 people and a large fireplace (wood provided for evening fires from October to March). This area also includes a shower room, washing machine, and separate toilet. The room opens onto a 100 m² terrace and a large private fenced garden of 4,000 m² with (from April to September/October): barbecue, garden furniture & sun loungers, table tennis. A pétanque court (please bring your own balls) and a badminton net (summer) are just a few steps away in your private garden. Upstairs: Bedroom No. 1: 2 single beds (90 cm) + 1 mezzanine with 2 single beds (90 cm) + bathroom and toilet + balcony. Bedroom No. 2: 1 double bed (140 cm) + 1 mezzanine with 2 single beds (90 cm) + bathroom and toilet + balcony. Bedroom No. 3: 1 double bed (140 cm) + 1 mezzanine with 2 single beds (90 cm) + shower room and toilet. Bedroom No. 4: 2 single beds (90 cm) + 1 mezzanine with 1 single bed (90 cm) + shower room and toilet. Possibility to rent 2 or 3 additional cottages or rooms located in the same farmstead (please ask). Utilities included (water, gas, electricity, heating during the cold season, fireplace wood for evening fires from October to March). End-of-stay cleaning included (a minimum level of tidiness is expected). Bed linen included for all bookings made from January 21st, 2026. Our services: Enjoy the cottage until 3:00 p.m. at no extra charge (ONLY IF THE COTTAGE IS AVAILABLE). Relaxation massages and energy treatments on site by reservation, at least a few days in advance: please ask. Baby welcome: Free use of 2 travel cots, 2 high chairs, and a changing table. Bring your dog! Dogs are welcome (cats not allowed), maximum of 2 dogs (or three small dogs), under certain conditions (please ask). Rate: €7 per dog per night. On site, a mini farm with adorable animals: chickens, dwarf rabbits, ducks, geese, miniature pigs. From November 2025: 2 mini-Shetland foals. From February 2026: 2 mini Highland calves and dwarf goats. Guest access The entire cottage is privatized to you. You also have access to parking near the gîte for 8 cars. On site we have some animals to the delight of children! Chickens (some of which are free), quails, ducks and geese (in the fenced pond), dwarf rabbits. There is also a hut on stilts with a slide (be careful, it's very high so it is not suitable for young children or only under supervision). Our asset: Walk through the park calmly and enjoy our ancient trees and meditation places (free of charge). Other things to note 15 km from Le Crotoy, 20 km from Saint Valéry sur Somme, Quend Plage and Fort Mahon Plage, and 25 km from Montreuil sur Mer or Berck Plage.
