Chalet, sauna, hammam. Beautiful views

The chalet is located in the Melon district and has beautiful views over the Dranse Valley. This comfortable family chalet has all the comforts such as a sauna and steam cabin. We have 11 beds and 2 baby beds. There is WiFi via fiber optics. Pets are not allowed in the chalet. The chalet is less suitable for people with physical disabilities due to accessibility. The space Our chalet is a great base for a wonderful vacation in the cross-border area of Portes du Soleil. Both in summer and winter, there are plenty of activities possible such as mountain hiking, mountain biking (many lifts are open for this purpose), rafting on the Dranse and various water sports on Lake Geneva. Skiing, cross-country skiing or hiking in the largest contiguous ski area in Europe The chalet can accommodate 11 people, but we limit it (preferably) to 10 people. After skiing, it is wonderful to relax by the fireplace, to go to the sauna or hammam and then to "fondue" or "raclette" with each other at the long table. Fondue and raclette sets are available in the kitchen. But also in summer, there are plenty of activities possible such as mountain hiking, mountain biking (many lifts are open for this purpose), rafting on the Dranse and various water sports on Lake Geneva. LAYOUT: GROUND FLOOR (Floor heating) 1 bedroom with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m). 1 bedroom with 2 x a single bed. (0.90 x 2.00m) Bathroom with double sink and a "shower arc fitness shower” with side jets, a whirlpool and a 5-person sauna. Toilet with sink. Hall with a washing machine and dryer. In the storage room is also the ski storage with space for 15 pairs of skis and a ski boot dryer also for 15 pairs of shoes. FIRST FLOOR: Spacious living room with cozy fireplace (wood included). Large open kitchen with, among other things, 5-burner ceramic stove, a large fridge with separate freezer, microwave, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker and a Nespresso. Fondue sets and raclette sets are provided. From the living room, you have a beautiful view over the valley, and through the French doors, you can reach the large covered balcony (approx. 40 m2). In the living room are also a 55-inch smart TV, DVD/Video recorder and Sonos box available. Movies, books and boardgames are provided. Furthermore, on this floor there is a separate toilet. (The storage cabinet is in private use for the owner.) SECOND FLOOR: 1 bedroom with 2 box springs (80x 2.00m) and a single bed (80 x 2.00m), 1 bedroom with front balcony with 2 box springs (90 x 2.00 m), 1 bedroom with front balcony with 2 box springs (90 x 2.00 m), 1 small bedroom with cot and desk. There is also a bathroom here with double sink, separate shower, toilet and a luxurious double steam cabin (including radio, color therapy and rain and massage showers, etc.). We ask you to respect this. Other things to note It is not allowed to bring pets in our chalet. The chalet is 2 km from Abondance ski area (17 km slopes) and 6 km from the 1st connecting lift of Portes du Soleil (600 km slopes, 286 lifts). Chatêl is 10 km away. Use of fireplace wood is included in the rental price, as well as the energy costs, provided that they do not exceed normal use. Bedding and bath linens can be rented for €26.00 per person.
