Welcome to the Turracher Höhe! In the middle of one of Austria's most impressive nature reserves! A centuries-old pine forest and magnificent mountains form the backdrop of this former spa town. Our cozy and comfortable chalet can be rented all year round. WINTER-SPRING Between the beginning of December and the beginning of May, the Turracher Höhe presents itself as a versatile winter paradise with snow-covered slopes up to 2,205 m above sea level. The space In addition to the many slopes, the area also offers idyllic cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails and a mountain lake where you can skate in winter. In the area it is possible to drive with organized snowmobiles. The ski bus stops 50 meters from the chalet. SUMMER-AUTUMN The idyllic nature reserve, on the border between Carinthia and Styria, forms a small Alpine world at an altitude of 1,763 m. Mountain hikers, hikers, joggers, Nordic walkers, mountain bikers and all the other nature lovers who love the mountains will find what they are looking for here. Unique attractions include the Alpine roller coaster Nocky Flitzer and the family experience Nocky's AlmZeit at the mountain station of the Panoramabahn. Built in 2014, the house has an area of 130 m2, spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 8 people. In addition, it has a large terrace facing south, a balcony and a carport for 2 cars. It comes with full amenities including Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, satellite TV, hot tub, oven, microwave, outdoor BBQ, etc. Ground floor: Living room with a large open kitchen with all appliances, a spacious dining area, a cozy sitting area with L-bench, a wood-burning stove in the middle of the room and access to the spacious terrace with an electric hot tub. There is also a bathroom with shower, toilet and sauna on the ground floor. There is a separate room for skis with a heated ski boot rack for your ski boots, helmets, etc. Upper floor: 4 bedrooms (two rooms with two single beds, two rooms with double beds and access to a large balcony) and a bathroom with bathtub/shower and toilet.
