Chilled Hen Parties are welcome 🌸 The space Russia Hall is a Grade II Listed building dating back to the 1840 & before, a former Dairy Farm set within its own grounds, in a semi-rural setting within walking distance of Tattenhall village and just 8 miles from Chester City Centre. There are plenty of good country pubs & walks nearby as well as the shopping, history & the nightlife of Chester. Bolesworth Estate, Cholmondeley Castle & the market town of Tarporley are close by. The famous Ice-cream Farm and Chester Zoo provide family entertainment. The property is approached via its own private gated entrance, along a sweeping driveway. The house is full of character with exposed beams and wood burning stoves and is full of natural light. There is a dining room with a Charnwood wood burning stove and a table to seat 12 guests, the spacious lounge has a wonderful Chesney wood burning stove, 3 sofas, with French windows looking out onto the South facing Terrace. The well equipped farmhouse kitchen is the hub of the house with its AGA cooker and farmhouse table seating 12, off the kitchen is a snug with 3 sofas, Smart TV, Netflix and wood burning stove, with French windows that lead out to an outside dining area and orchard. There's also a quiet study room with Antique Desk. Off the kitchen is the utility and boot room, perfect for dogs. On the first floor there is a spacious bedroom with a King-size four poster bed, ensuite bathroom with roll top bath, next to this is a spacious double room, across the landing is a generous King-Size double room with a separate family bathroom with large shower and roll top bath, then almost in a separate wing of the house are two further spacious King-size double rooms and a twin room with ensuite shower. On the second floor is a very spacious Super-kingsize double room with ensuite shower. The lawned gardens are extensive, with an orchard, croquet lawn, box garden and walled garden, there are plenty of outdoor seating areas, a Skargards Scandinavian wood fired hot tub, (heated for your arrival*) and outdoor covered seating area, Weber gas BBQ & Weber charcoal BBQ (by request) There is plenty of parking. Private Chef & Caterer recommendations on request. *subject to extreme weather conditions such as subzero temperatures. Guest access The entire house and garden. Other things to note *Linen, towels and a starter stack of logs provided. *There is plenty of parking and a field to land a helicopter. * There are neighbouring properties, so guests must be mindful of this (especially after 11pm) * Please ask our prior permission before hiring chefs, caterers, entertainment, beauty treatments, photographers or drones or anything else - we have a recommendations. * please be advised that while discreet, the owners live on-site and can be contacted in case of emergency. * The hot tub & chill area are for use between 10am-10pm * No music is to be played outside * The hot tub may not be fit for use during periods of extreme subzero temperatures due to the risk of freezing water pipes and consequential damage to the filter pump * please rebook taxis in advance due to our semi rural location (we can advise)
