Modern villa near forest and lakes in Friesland

Rijs is located in Friesland, a popular province in the northern part of the Netherlands featuring picturesque towns, lakes and woodlands. Rijs and its surroundings offer numerous watersport activities, biking and walking trails. Minutes away, you can find great restaurants and woodland excursions, or stroll a little further to the beach. Nearby towns offer notable shopping, cultural events, golf or horse riding. The grocery store is 1.5 km away, and the shopping district is just 5 km away! The space The house was designed by a local architect in the 1970’s and features a split-level design with a variety of triangular, round and rectangular windows. The interior of the home is tastefully remodeled in 2018, and we are currently working on adding some more landscaping. The villa is fully equipped with everything you desire during your stay. The outdoor space includes a big grassy yard, a patio with a lounge set, table and chairs, and a BBQ grill. Some outdoor play equipment, such as badminton and balls, is also available. Toys and indoor games, such as chess, playing cards and Rummikub are located in a kids’ corner. There’s even an Xbox with games in a separate room with its own TV. A crib and a high-chair are available as well. Guest access The whole house is available for you during your stay. No shared areas. Other things to note Kitchen linnen and bath towels are provided. It is mandatory to rent bedlinnen for €7,50 per person per stay. (Please pay this amount cash to the property manager) Tourist tax is €1 per person per night.
