The space Mike & Suzanne welcome you to The Lodge on Loch Fyne, a stunning former Victorian shooting lodge set on two acres in St Catherines Loch Fyne overlooking the spectacular Inveraray Castle from our private beach. The Lodge offers the perfect venue for a relaxed get together with friends and family. With a welcoming feel, it is the perfect venue for all family celebrations. We host all types of large gatherings, Friends, Birthday, Hen, Stag and can accommodate up to 22 persons. Chic but relaxed, the Lodge sleeps 22 people. 1 super king with the option to add 2 singles 2 double bedrooms. 1 triple room with double bed and single bed. 1 triple room with a king and 1 single. 1 quad room with a king and 2 single beds. We also have 2 double sofa beds It also benefits from 3 bathrooms with roll-top baths, 2 with additional showers and 1 large walk-in shower room. We also offer a meal on arrival or at any point in your stay as well as bread making and butter churning courses. The house is wheelchair accessible and has 1 bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The hot tub is situated in our secluded walled garden, perfect to soak away into the wee hours. We provide bed linen, hand and tea towels only, remember to bring your own and flip flops for the hot tub. We are self catering only so remember to bring all the little necessities The adjoining woodland has achieved SSSI status and if you walk through the woods you will see the many plants native to this area. You may also see some of the wildlife including red squirrels, deer and owls. The beautiful Cowal Peninsula offers wonderful scenery, where you can enjoy walking, fishing, golf, swimming and boating in and around Loch Fyne. It offers guests a peaceful retreat with outstanding loch views and is the perfect location for exploring the magnificent west highlands of Scotland. We also offer the opportunity to moor your boat at one of our moorings or why not bring your horse to the paddock and ride around the countryside. The villages of Strachur and Cairndow are 5 minutes away and offer a range of shops for essentials, and pubs and restaurants if you fancy dining in or out.
