More than an impersonal and cold gîte, we are seasonally renting our country house where we like to come to relax. To all lovers of the charm of old stone, atypical houses and nature, come and enjoy a relaxing time with us. A stone's throw from a large forest and 20 minutes from the Bay of Somme, you will feel at home here whatever the season. The space The house has on the ground floor a spacious well-equipped kitchen, a large bright living room with fireplace with insert, a TV lounge, a shower room, a separate toilet, a fitted back kitchen. Upstairs, the landing leads to two adjoining bedrooms on one side with a 160 double bed in one and two fixed single beds in the other (do not move them); on the other side, a bedroom with a 160 double bed and a large bedroom with 1 160 double bed (consisting of 2 separate beds joined together) and 1 baby crib. These 2 bedrooms are separated by a water point with toilet and sink; but access to the attic bedroom is through the large bedroom. Internet access is facilitated with the Fiber installed in early 2025, making remote working easier. Our house is cozy whatever the season thanks to double glazing, gas heating (oil supplementary heating in the attic room), fireplace with insert that invites cocooning and that will offer you beautiful autumn or winter evenings by the fire. From spring to summer, you will marvel at the different blooms that nature will reserve for you: the cherry and apple trees in bloom, the lilacs, tulips, clematis on the front of the house, hollyhocks... In the summer, you will also enjoy brunch or lunch in the fenced garden of approximately 600 m2 at the rear of the house and/or relax in the deckchairs at your disposal. On the practical side, the house is located in a village where you can easily do your shopping with 1 bakery, 1 supermarket, 1 deli caterer and 1 cheese maker. There is also 1 medical center, 2 hairdressers, 1 beauty salon, 2 florists, 2 newsstands, 1 cinema, 1 tourist office... Discounted rate depending on the length of stay; discount automatically taken into account once the duration is selected (1 to 3 weeks) Check-in from 6pm (maximum 8pm) to be defined according to the situation. Checkout at noon for medium-term stays. Late afternoon checkout possible for weekend stays. Cleaning fees are charged extra for an amount of €80 per stay (fireplace cleaning included) Sheets and towels are not provided, but it is possible to opt for the "bed linen and towels" service at an additional cost (a lump sum depending on the number of tenants will be communicated to you on request). Linen rental offered for stays of 2 weeks or more. In case of linen rental, beds are made upon arrival. Reservations accepted for a minimum of 2 nights. Bikes (4 adult size bikes) are available for a ride around Crécy. Please take care of them and let us know of any damage. Pets accepted under conditions (prohibition to climb in the rooms, or on the beds and sofas; excrement to be collected indoors and outdoors). We are committed to this home and we make sure to choose families who share the same values as us: respect, kindness, calm and attention. That's why we don't allow parties and we favor families or friends who want to get together to have a good time and enjoy the area. The house is very well equipped because we want everyone to feel at home as soon as they cross the threshold.
