It is 30 minutes from the city of Funchal and 45 minutes from the airport. The house is equipped for guests to produce their meals, either in the fully equipped kitchen (for example with dishwasher and multi-brand coffeemaker) or prepare their barbecues or roasts at the barbecue area. Guest access The property has a total area of 5050 m2, where a consumption crop is actively farmed, and contains many fruit and laurel trees. An agricultural activity that is contemplated is a vineyard for consumption purposes (the traditional Jaqué vineyard and the strawberry vine, traditionally known as American grape in the Madeira Archipelago). The wine is produced by the estate's winepress, a plate and screw device, and subsequently stored in the Garcês Winery/Museum. Guests on arrival are toasted with a glass of wine produced right on the property. There is a day in the week when there is a tasting of the wines produced on the property. Guests have access to the entire property, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, barbecue area and swings. There are private balconies in two of the rooms overlooking the city center and a terrace overlooking the pool, barbecue and surrounding landscape (São Vicente Valley). There is a spot in the pool where there are water jets! Guests can take advantage of a Hot Tub on the property, with a temperature of up to 40º, although its use has to be requested in advance and has an extra charge of €15 per day. There is a herbal tea space (next to the barbecue area) which guests can use to prepare natural teas. Other things to note At the property, there is a traditional Madeiran barbecue pit (with oven, barbecue and home area), which can be used by the clients; charcoal must be purchased. Free Wi-Fi system inside and outside the property, with a computer in the library/reading room. The rooms have air conditioning, plasma TV (TDT), a personalized and private WC, and one of the toilets has a bidet. Possibility of preparing meals in the fully-equipped kitchens, which even contain a dishwasher and coffee machine. A small breakfast can be included. The daily rate presented is for two people per night, plus the same amount for each extra couple, up to the indicated number of capacity. Towels (chestnut colored) for the pool and the Jacuzzi are provided by the house. There is a spot in the pool where there are water jets!
