The Wooden House - Glenferness Estate

Unique Norwegian chalet built in the 1890’s. With the squash court/games room next door, a stone throw from the walled garden and sits above the Findhorn - where you can hear the sound of the river tumbling through the gorge. Lovely and private river and woodland walks on your doorstep. Space for parking four cars. Someone is usually in Glenferness house to be on hand to help if needed. The space The Wooden House is private but it is next door to Glenferness house and in the heart of the estate where you might come across estate staff going about their work. It is on one floor and comprises two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, sleeping up to 8 guests. The sitting room has a TV, DVD player, CD player and Wi-Fi. The dining room seats up to 12 guests. The kitchen has a range style cooker, a dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer. The table seats 8. The utility room has a small freezer, a microwave and a washing machine. Phone signal is limited by the house, there is however a landline which may be used.
