Lugar do Pégo is located in the middle of the wine region of the Dão, with vineyards and wineries "around the corner" and borders the ecopista - a 49 km bike path without any motorized traffic. Mountain bikes are available for rent upon request in advance. The river Dinha is a little over 300 meters away. Further along the Dinha and the river Dão, there are river beaches where swimming is wonderful. Overlooking the Serra da Estrela and the Serra da Açor, surrounded by trees and tranquility and 21 kilometers from Viseu and 69 km from historic Coimbra, the accommodation offers all the possibilities to be active but also to relax and unwind. The Caramulo Mountains are 20 minutes away by car and are suitable for hiking, paragliding, abseiling and have a renowned oldtimer museum. The Serra de Estrela is an hour's drive away, as is the sea with several fantastic beaches. Furthermore, there is a thermal bath 15 minutes away by car with - in winter and spring - various beauty packages and also a golf course with 27 holes within 25 minutes. Viseu is 21 km from Lugar do Pego and can be reached by bicycle via the ecopista. Coimbra is only 69 km away. Free WiFi throughout the complex. Towels and bedding are provided.
