Casa do Azevim is located in the Branda da Bouça dos Homens, which belongs to the villages of Peneda and Beleiral, in the parish of Gavieira, in the municipality of Arcos de Valdevez. The space Bouça dos Homens is a small village with an imposing and breathtaking landscape. At an altitude of 1,070m, it lies on the edge of the Peneda Gerês National Park. It is a plain surrounded by 5 mountain peaks: to the south, Alto da Pedrada (1,416 m above sea level); to the southeast, Cume da Peneda/Castelo do Pedrinho (1,374 m above sea level); to the north, Alto da Costa/Fojo (1,290 m above sea level); to the west, Outeiro Alvo (1,314 m above sea level); and to the southeast, Penameda (1,268 m above sea level). ​Of unparalleled beauty, where the sounds of Nature create a symphony that invites us to listen and relax, Casa do Azevim awakens a sense of well-being in all those who appreciate peace and quiet, and spurs on those who enjoy new challenges to embark on exciting mountain adventures. Here you can relax in the cosiness of a small open-plan house, with a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a double sofa bed. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. The maximum capacity is 4 people, ideally for a couple or a couple with children. The house has a rustic look, but it provides the necessary modern amenities. The view, at the foot of the Serra da Peneda, is breathtaking. It's opening the window to the purest natural experience, where you live in complete communion with its fauna and flora: animals like the Garrano horse or the Cachena and Pisca cows go up and down the mountain, getting to know every corner with each step.
