This charming and cosy cottage offers an unbeatable location with views across the stunning Burrow Beach nature reserve and the sea beyond. The foreshore can be accessed through the garden, perfect for morning strolls, sunset views, or launching your kayak straight from the property. The private garden is ideal for al fresco dining, relaxing with a book, or simply soaking up the coastal view. A short stroll brings you to the harbour and village centre, with local pubs, cafés, and shops. The space The cottage sleeps 7 in three unique character bedrooms one of which has a balcony overlooking the waterfront. The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, look out on the garden with magnificent views to the sea beyond. There are two small outside patio seating areas one on the water’s edge and ample areas to sunbathe in the gardens. A driveway provides parking at the entrance and a gated lawned area provides further parking at the other end of the cottage. Fethard on Sea is a wonderful village on the famous Hook Peninsula, “the RiveEire of Ireland” with all amenities, Pubs, Shops, Chemist, Chinese Restaurant, Cafes, Gastro Pub, a Spiritual Clairvoyant Practice, Doctors Surgery, and superb Coasteering centre. It is a magnet for artists from all over the world attracted by the views and the unique atmospheric light. Fethard is two hours traveling from Dublin and half an hour from Waterford and Wexford. The Hook Peninsula is famous for its beautiful coast with fourteen beaches and boasts the most annual sunshine in Ireland. Fethard Harbour is busy with fishermen and anglers the whole year round with abundant sea bass and mackerel in the surrounding waters. Note -For larger parties, our sister property by the harbour can accommodate 17 guests and possible more if required. Other things to note Please note that we are unable to take away any waste. There is a disposal bin at the shop and recycling is by the bridge in the village
