Villa I Leoni

The villa, is divided into six apartments of different size, each one with kitchen, full bathrooms shower and it's rented all together. They are provided with sat. TV and Int. con. and one of them is accessible to disabled people. There are 9 double and 1 twin bedrooms and from 2019 they boast new beds with very comfortable mattresses 26 cms high. On the ground floor there is the largest apt. with 3 entrances, a dining room of 45 sq. m. and a large equipped kitchen (25 sq. m.). Aircond. in... The space In the glorious hills of Montespertoli overlooking an ancient Castle, in one of the most beautiful position in the area, a top of a hill, stands the pretty Villa I Leoni, a charming and authentic old manor House that dates back to the XIX century. On one side it was built on a large tabernacle of 1700 that was removed for the renovation of the villa. It is located in one of the most quiet locations in the area on top of a hill surrounded by a ring of hills around. The villa has very fast and easy access to Central Florence which stands 20 km away. Due to its position and to the many trees around the villa the place and the interiors are cool, so when you come back from a day trip around the places of Tuscany you can refresh and relax enjoying the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, the villa stands in panoramic position offering a magnificent view of the Tuscan countryside stretching as far as the eye can see. Away from the city It stands between Florence, Pisa and Sienna, Central place in Tuscany to visit almost its major cities and near many small, quait villages with small roads. The area is also particularly attractive for the glorious blu skies, sun, smell of the country, food, wines and olive oil. You can use the villa like Home Base for day trips to discover all best places in Tuscany. WHAT YOU CAN DO WHEN YOU ARE HERE: DAY TRIPS WITH PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION TO FIRENZE, PISA, LUCCA, SIENA SAN GIMIGNANO, VOLTERRA E MONTALCINO WHICH CAN BE REACHED IN FEW MORE THAN AN HOUR DRIVE. YOU CAN ALSO REACH FIRENZE IN HALF AN HOUR DRIVE BY BUS WHICH STOPS 300 METERS FROM THE HOUSE. PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR IN FLORENCE AND SIENA. THE PLACE IS ALSO CONVENIENT FOR A TRIP TO "LE CINQUE TERRE" (130 KM AWAY). YOU CAN REACH LA SPEZIA IN FEW MORE THAN AN HOUR DRIVE AND FROM THERE TO CATCH THE TRAIN OR THE BOAT TO THE FANTASTIC FIVE VILLAGES. IT'S ALSO A NICE TRIP TO GO TO THE HOT SPRING OF SATURNIA. Guest access The six apt. of the villa, with garden and swimming pool are at the guests disposal. Other things to note Electricity included up to 300 kw per week; over this consumption for use of air conditioning and heating to be paid on the spot 50 cents per kw.
