The Coustou Refuge

Traditional family house with stunning views of the Couserans mountains, the refuge du coustou, renovated with passion, welcomes you to the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Nature Park. The space On several levels, you have a large living room with a glazed stove at your disposal, very pleasant for an evening by the fire, a modern and equipped kitchen with stunning views of the mountains and open to the garden. Bedrooms: one bedroom with double bed and electric bed bases in the old barn with its mud wall, a dormitory of 4 single beds all in wood, a large bedroom with a superb balcony and two double beds, a large bathroom, separate toilet. The house enjoys the sun all day. Guest access The entire property is accessible as well as the gardens, a must-see living space in the shade of the linden tree for a quiet lunch, to admire the view or to play with the family. In the garden you have at your disposal a barbecue, garden furniture, deckchairs and a large table with armchairs and parasol. Other things to note You have all the amenities of our home as if you were at home. You are in our family home with all the objects specific to these homes that we want to be warm and welcoming. You will also have all the facilities such as dishwasher, washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, cookware, bathtub, walk-in shower, garden furniture, barbecue. Additional and/or optional costs: The municipality imposes a tourist tax collected by Airbnb We can provide you with wood for your fires in our glass stove. The cost of this service depends on the length of your stay with a minimum of €20. You should normally bring your linens and towels. If you don't want to, we can provide them (€12 per person for the sheets, towels, tea towels pack). Similarly, if you don't want to do the departure cleaning, tell us, a person on site can do the standard cleaning for you: dust, windows, vacuum cleaner, mop and bathroom. The cost is €70 payable on arrival. When the season requires heating the house, the ideal room temperature is different for everyone. The latest generation radiators consume little. The meter is read upon arrival and departure and if your consumption exceeds €5 per day, the additional kWh will be charged at the EDF base rate at the time of your departure.
