Surrounded by the same fragrant gardens, olive trees, and our family vineyard, Villa Marie invites you to unwind in true Cycladic style—with sweeping views, vibrant sunsets, and the soothing rhythm of nature all around. This cozy retreat features a traditional barbecue for outdoor cooking, two sun loungers for lazy afternoons, and two sheltered parking spaces. Indoors, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, strong Wi-Fi, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Four comfortable bedrooms and three spotless bathrooms. Shower off the sea and sand in our outdoor shower, dine on the terrace under the stars, and let the quiet beauty of the island reset your pace. Villa Marie is a place close to our hearts—shaped by family, nature, and the insights of guests who help us make it better with every season. Guest access Guests have full and exclusive access to the entire villa, including all indoor living areas, the terraces and patio on ground floor, the garden, and the outdoor dining spaces and Barbecue area. I live in a separate guest room located below the villa, with my own private entrance, garden and parking area. While I may be seen from time to time—especially when outside—I will always respect your privacy and remain unobtrusive. Please note: the garage, which I use as a personal storage space, is not accessible to guests. Although there is an internal door connecting the villa to the garage, it will remain closed and secured at all times. I'm nearby and available if you need any assistance during your stay, but otherwise, the villa is entirely yours to enjoy. Other things to note WATER: Poseidonia has a new water pipeline bringing water from the desalination plants, where it’s treated and declared safe every month. Still, we’ve added a carbon filter to the kitchen tap just to be extra safe. Water shortages are common in the Greek islands during summer. If the water stops, let us know, and we’ll switch to one of our two backup cisterns. Remember, be mindful of water usage and try not to waste any. Hot water: We get hot water from the Solar Panels.
