Lychen House - A Place to Stay

The space Lychen House offers four comfortable bedrooms, a large guest kitchen, a lounge, garden, some bikes, a canoe and a homely feeling. We are a Kiwi/German family and have converted the former court house of Lychen into our home and a Guesthouse. We can accommodate up to ten people. The artist Mark Cato works and lives on site, his work is on display throughout the house. There is a large artist community in the region and we are happy to point the interested traveler into the right direction to discover the local art-scene. Lychen House is located in the centre of town, between town hall, market square and 13th century church. Lychen is a lovely little place, sitting like an island amidst seven beautiful lakes and vast forests. Less than four minutes walk will take you from our house to one of four lakes, all great for swimming and canoeing. And if you like to cycle or hike - the forests and country side will be your playground. And Lychen is not far away from Berlin: An hour’s train ride from nearby Fürstenberg takes you right into the centre. We love about this place that it is a bit of a hidden gem, rough around the edges and waiting to be discovered. And we are keen to help you do so. Please note that this listing is for our group-deal.
