Cantinho do Ilhéu - "Green and Sea"

Cantinho do Ilhéu consists of 2 independent accommodations - "Azul e Mar" and "Verde e Mar". It is located on the south coast of São Miguel Island, in the parish of São Roque, a 5-minute drive from the airport and the city of Ponta Delgada. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, in front of the "Ilhéu de São Roque" and a natural sea pool "Zona Balnear Forno da Cal" is a very quiet and central place to spend your vacation! The decor was inspired by the island's greenery and the cacti that grow along the sea The space The "Verde e Mar" Apartment consists of 1 bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen in an open space. It is fully equipped for a pleasant stay. As you can see in the photos, there are no cars in front of the accommodation (but there are 3 free parking lots and bus stops within a 1-minute walk). There is a pedestrian walkway and a bike path that, on one side and always along the coast, leads to the city of Ponta Delgada - a 30-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride, where there are many restaurants, bars, a market, gardens, museums, churches, and where the boats for whale and dolphin watching depart from. And on the other side, it will lead to the parish of São Roque, where there are 3 of the best beaches on the island, restaurants, bars, grocery store, fruit store, pastry shop, fish shop, butcher shop, pharmacy, ATM and post office, all within a few minutes' walk. Also as you can see in the photos, in front of the accommodations there is a swimming area, which has surveillance, is safe and free - Zona Balnear do Forno da Cal. There is the "Ilhéu de São Roque" area where you can swim, snorkel or fish. We offer: towels for the beach/thermal pools, umbrella, umbrellas, picnic blanket, cooler, fishing rods. For baby/child, there is a crib, bathtub and high chair. Outside, there is a small common garden for the 2 accommodations, where you can relax, read, eat and drink. Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome gift of regional products: wine, beers, juices, water, milk, bread, cheese, butter, jam, cookies, fruit (the typical Azorean pineapple), tea (the only one produced in Europe). We also offer coffee and sugar. The kitchen is prepared to make your meals with everything you need. It has TV (with Netflix option), with multiple channels from multiple countries and great Internet quality. Ironing board and iron, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, towels, cotton pads, first aid kit... The washing machine, detergent, clotheslines and recycling bin are in the common area of the 2 apartments. I always offer a map of the Island, where I mark all the main places to visit. The common areas for both are the exterior corridor leading to each unit, the laundry area and the exterior garden. Other things to note I'm a person who loves to host, meet and talk.
