Top Cot Cottage: comfortable, friendly, perfect in St Just!
Description
This historic miners’ house, in a granite terrace built in 1860, has been fully refurbished to the highest standard as a perfect base to explore the spectacular Cornish coast and Lands End (Penwith) peninsular. Relax in the comfortable sitting room with its period features (including granite inglenook fireplace), separate dining room or the sheltered sun-trap of the rear garden. The spacious upstairs main bedroom has a luxury king-sized bed, with 2 single beds (one 5'3") in the small bedroom. The space Named for its position, a quiet cul-de-sac in a conservation area at the head of the famously beautiful Cot Valley, Top Cot Cottage has everything you need for the holiday you want: from stunning sandy beaches and hidden coves, to walking the rugged coastal path, exploring the many picturesque remains of the mining industry or roaming the pre-historic landscape of the surrounding moorland. And the convenience of being only a 5 minute stroll from the compact centre of the small ancient mining town of St Just, with its pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. Note that in the smaller bedroom one of the single beds is a bit short at 5' 3" (1.6m). Guest access There is usually a parking space outside Top Cot Cottage in the quiet cul-de-sac road, but failing that there is a space reserved in the local football club car park only 50m away at the end of the road. Our very comprehensive guidebook has full details of, and maps showing, all the local pubs, restaurants, shops, walks and beaches (including the amazing 'secret' locals' beach fortunately not yet discovered by nosey journalists!). Other things to note IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL FOR LEGAL COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS YOU WILL GET A FULL REFUND, WHENEVER THAT CANCELLATION IS MADE
