Charming house in the countryside

Quiet and charming vacation home combining modernity and tradition, with its old south-facing courtyard and heated pool on a large plot (1 ha, meadow and woods) The space Our house is located on the edge of a private wood. You will be in a quiet place, on a hectare of land with a small wood. Heated pool for your relaxation (May 1st - September 30th), indoor courtyard for your sunny coffee, calm! Note that we did some work in 2017. Thus, the upstairs shower and bathrooms have been redone, as well as the dining room. A kitchen open to the pool and meadow has been added. The outdoor terraces have also been redone. We regularly improve the house over the years. The photos may not be exactly in line with reality. The tent in the garden is no longer available. Please note that the heating is not on during rentals. Nights can be cool in April or September... Guest access The entire home is yours to enjoy. There are a few chickens or guinea fowl in the henhouse (depending on the foxes... In July 2021, there was 1 hen and 3 guinea fowl). The chicken coop is on the edge of the property. During the year, they are fed and cared for by a neighbor who may be required to come by to see them (below, on the parking side) without going through the house or the garden. If you don't want him to come by, in order to stay completely "at home", please let us know. During your stay, you can also feed them by giving them your leftovers, the eggs are for you (one egg per day and per hen normally). Other things to note There are two bedrooms for couples: one upstairs, with two windows overlooking the meadow and the courtyard; the other on the ground floor: it can be accessed directly from the outside (interior access also, of course), it has two skylights and a private shower room with toilet. Two other rooms are "dormitories" each with 4 single beds. These rooms are upstairs: the first, "courtyard room" overlooks the inner courtyard (south), the second, "chicken room" overlooks the back, henhouse side (north). In the latter, there are two beds 80 cm wide that can be brought together to make a double bed 160 cm. The three bedrooms on the upper floor have a toilet, a shower room + sink + toilet and a bathroom + 2 sinks. There are two stairs to the upstairs. To go from the "courtyard room" to the bathrooms or shower rooms you can go through the "chicken room" or go through the ground floor. Finally, the fifth bedroom is a "spare room" with a separate bathroom (it is used by our disabled daughter). It has a bay window with curtain that overlooks the children's living room. You have to cross this room to access the couple's room on the ground floor.
