Description

Located only 300 m from the town centre and 1 km from the beach – at Costa del Sol’s only unspoiled coastal stretch. Málaga and the airport are at 30 min drive. Cortijo Molino in Almayate consists of a main house with chimney (3 bedrooms, 2 baths) and an independent apartment (1 bedroom, 1 bath) on a private, totally fenced plot of 1000 m² with lawn, lounge areas, terrace, barbecue, pool and panoramic views over the sea. You feel like in the country side but are smack dab in the middle of it. The space With its tasteful and stylish furnishings our accommodation clearly stands out from other standard holiday homes with their purely pragmatic interiors that are no big loss when damaged (but certainly no delight). Here, you find high-grade furniture, nicely matched textiles, classy dinnerware, very special decoration objects and fancy art on the walls. Just walk in – and immediately feel at home. The main house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms – one of them en-suite, the other with bathtub, double basin and shower – a large, open-spaced kitchen with dining table for up to ten people, and a generous living room with comfy sofa and Smart TV (Astra) and a further lounge area with chimney in front of the glass front. From here, two doors lead out onto the terrace and the garden. You can cover the sitting area next to the masonry barbecue for more shade. The independent apartment opposite the main house has its separate entrance & outdoor area with two sitting areas, an open living area with sofa and smart TV (Astra), dining table and kitchen, next to it, you’ll find a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The plot of 1000 m² is entirely fenced, private and in most parts hidden from views. The nicely landscaped garden has areas of lawn, colourful flowerbeds, flowering bushes and fruit trees – according to the season you can pick grapes, nectarines or plums. Except for two steps in and around the main house the entire accommodation is at-grade. Guest access You are renting the entire property so of course you can access each and every little corner and do as you please. Other things to note Simply for more independence and the ease of exploring the region we recommend you rent a car. However, we’ve had plenty of happy guests without – it really is only is a five-minute walk to town where you’ll find plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping facilities. To the beach, it’s a fifteen-minute walk. You can park your car(s) in the driveway and also on the premises behind the gate. Besides, there is plenty of parking space on the street just in front of the house. Kids are of course very welcome, but please be aware that the house is not child proof. The pool is not fenced and has a deep end. Pool measures: 6,70m x 3,50m, depth 1,60m. Despite the currently alarming water situation in Spain, you will not encounter inconveniences. We have our own well and are thus not dependent on the suppliers regulating consumption in other places. Of course, we do ask you to make responsible use of our water. Pets are very welcome, please take a close look at the photos to determine if your dog may jump over the glass front around the pool or the walls fencing the garden. Our neighbours have cats who sometimes like their stroll around the garden, unless scared away by guests’ dogs.
