3rd Flr Penthouse by Northeastern Illinois Unvrsty

My place is close to Northeastern Illinois University and Bryn Mawr Breakfast Club. You’ll love my place because of its simplicity & plants, the coziness & the light. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. I have 3 very friendly pet birds (cockatiels) that stay in the living room in their cage. There is no elevator. This is a 3rd floor unit. This is not a downtown location. It is on the north side of the city. Check House Rules. The space The space is very simple, cozy & welcoming with lots and lots of plants. I have plants in every room as you can see in the pictures. For those people visiting from small, quiet places, you will hear city noises like cars passing by on the street especially if windows are open in the summer. I do not have a TV so please plan accordingly. I no longer have wifi, however if you are an Xfinity customer already, you can log in to use Xfinity open hotspot. I have 1 queen bed in the private bedroom and 1 full size/queen size futon in the shared dining room sleeping area. I have the listing set to max out at 7 guests, however please make a note to bring sleeping accommodations if you have more than 4-5 people in your group as 7 guests will be more cramped (sleeping bags, blankets, yoga mats, inflatable beds, or, pink flamingoes - as you see in one of my images). I decided to have my max guests set at 7 because I enjoy hosting great and respectful groups that don't want to break up their group and stay in different Airbnbs. If you fit this description please be ok with unorthodox and open-minded sleeping arrangements as noted above. Check the House Rules please! Guest access You will have access to the whole place. I usually sleep in the living room on the floor bed so most of the time guests spend is in the bedroom, dining room, kitchen, but are welcome throughout the whole apartment. There is a private bedroom with a queen-sized bed included and the dining room (open - space) with about a queen-sized futon included in the sleeping amenities. This usually accommodates 4 or 5 people. If you wish to have more people stay, the space can accommodate however you must bring an air mattress or blankets to make a floor bed for the extra people. Check the House Rules please! During your stay I am available to help. Other things to note This is not a downtown location. It is on the north side of the city right by Northeastern Illinois University. 3rd Floor Unit, no elevator. Get your workout while you stay here :) Check House Rules. Please do not fry foods and cook meat at my house. This is a new rule after I have had a few guests do this, my house smelled horrible for days so I have decided to make it a rule.
