The Retreat

Welcome to our traditional 2 bedroomed cottage . It was built in the 1700s and has recently been renovated ,now boasting contemporary features with a open plan kitchen/ diner, perfect for spending time with friends and loved ones. The cottage is in the very heart of Flamborough village. It is a lovely base to relax after exploring the rugged headland, Bempton Cliffs & beautiful Yorkshire coast. The village shops,pubs and eateries are all within easy reach ,as too is the town of Bridlington. The space Beautiful cottage comprises of 2 double bedrooms with built in wardrobes & drawers. The first floor bedroom has a double bed and the second floor bedroom has a Zip & Link bed which can be either used as two singles or one Kingsize bed. A bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower cubicle, open plan kitchen and living space. We provide a SMART tv giving access to iPlayer, Netflix etc. The kitchen has a range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster and all the usual utensils. There is a 4 seater sofa , foot rest, arm chair 2 breakfast bar stools as well as a table and 4 chairs. We have gch and an electric fire, perfect for those cosy evenings. Guest access There is access in the back yard for neighbours to bring their bin through into the road on collection days. Other things to note The back yard has open access for neighbouring cottages. A brand new raised decking area with gates has been installed and has ample space for a dog. There is a wooden table and 2 chairs. There is a large park area around the corner also, which is a good dog exercising space 🐶 As with the building being quite historic the stairs are known to be quite steep but there are sufficient hand rails all the way to the top floor.
