CASA BLU by the sea

An old fisherman's house on the small Gulf of Fondachello, The Blue House is one of 5 apartments in what was the residence of a family of Sicilian fishermen. The houses, completely independent, are at a distance of three meters from the sea. The spectacular terrace on the sea of the blue house is private. The sandy beach is ideal for children. A few steps from the station to easily reach Palermo or Cefalu. The space The House on the Water was built by my trisnonno in 1912, I grew up in this house with my grandparents, always breathing in the scent of the sea. Over the years I have learned to love this very expensive place, which today I share with those who have decided to discover Sicily and spend a quiet vacation. The house, an old fisherman's home, remains a simple place, which we have tried to make it cozy and comfortable. The houses are completely independent, but the common patio is often an opportunity for a glass of wine or a chat with other guests! Folk service with bread truck, fruit and vegetables...ideal for those who want to stay on the beach bed! The charm of the residence is definitely marked by the presence of the sea... so close as to become music for those who have the ability to listen... And if the sound of the sea overlooks that of thoughts, then you are in the right place! In the summer months of June to August , it could be very lively. Guest access The house is accessed through a patio/garden, which overlooks other independent houses. The house has a terrace overlooking the sea for exclusive use, which is accessed from a staircase outside the house. The house also has a veranda overlooking the patio/garden, shared with the other dwellings on the ground floor. The beach is frequented by locals and from June 1 to August 31 is partly occupied by a typical beach restaurant Other things to note Do not forget your fishing rod... you are so close to the sea that you can fish from the terrace of your home!! - During the winter there may be maintenance work outside the apartment ( January and February) - During the summer, the beach can be very busy.
