Chichester Victorian Home by Canal

A light, Victorian home with south facing garden, sleeping 4 adults and 3/4 children, few mins walk along canal to Chichester centre and train station (Goodwood event shuttle bus). Ideal for Goodwood, Festival Theatre, Downs, Wittering's beaches. The beautiful canal and countryside are at the end of our peaceful street (South Bank), perfect for country walks, boat hire, canoeing (courses/ solo) paddle board hire or cycling (bikes available) to country pubs/ harbours. Toys and bikes free to use. The space Beautiful Victorian period property and garden full of charm close to Chichester canal (various activities on offer), train station (Goodwood shuttle bus) and city centre and Chichester Gate (cinema, bowling, gym etc). The garden is south-facing with a large table to eat outside (sits at least 8). There are bikes to borrow on request and children's toys (boxes of lego, cars, dolls, puzzles etc). The whole house is available with 3 Bedrooms. Master bedroom with a king bed. A second bedroom (large loft room) has many sleeping options with a king day bed and/ or option of a bunk bed (sleeps 2). There is also a travel cot that can be placed in any room. A third smaller bedroom has a single bed. Therefore sleeping up to 4/ 5 adults with space for up to 3 children and an infant. There is also the option of splitting bedroom 2's day bed into 2 single adult mattresses if preferred. The south-facing garden has a large long table in the side-return that can sit 8. There is a lovely wooden seating area with cushions to enjoy reading a book and have a glass of wine etc. The grass is realistic, high-end artificial so great for any weather and children. We have a BBQ but please avoid grass and be sensible. There are bikes available to use for free (at own risk) and child's bikes (please check availability before). The canal is perfect for cycle rides into town or away from town into the Sussex countryside. When we live here we have 2 cats so anyone with allergies may need to be aware of this. Guest access The whole house and space, all bedrooms and private garden is available. You will be the only guests. (We use the garden annex shed for storage so this will be locked). Other things to note We do have cats which will not be there but worth noting if anyone has allergies. Our next door neighbour is a recommended babysitter if required! SKY package with fibre wifi included with sky movies, box sets and kids, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+. CDs of all genres available on request (have a large library stored). Various children's toys available on request. Garden has chairs a sitting area, a large dining area and smaller table gets the sun all day. We have bikes. You are welcome to use these at your own risk. Please check availability well in advance.
