The Tower, a striking fortified stone structure dating back to the 1500s, is one of the most iconic buildings in the Borgo Fontanini. Inside it features three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, a kitchen and a cozy living room with a fireplace. Please note: access to the property includes a short stretch of unpaved road, and the interior of the tower features steep stairs, typical of historical buildings of this kind. The space The Tower in the 15th-century hamlet of Borgo Fontanini is a stone tower featuring three bedrooms spread over five levels. Built into the hillside, it has two ground floors. On the lower level, there is a small, fully equipped kitchen with a door leading to a cozy patio area. Stairs lead up to a living and dining room with a fireplace and a door opening onto the garden, furnished with a table and chairs for al fresco dining. Steep stone steps lead up to the bedrooms. Each of the three bedrooms has its own private bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with fans. Wi-Fi internet is provided throughout the house. The house is very comfortable and peaceful, located in a panoramic spot surrounded by 6 hectares of fruit groves. The antique village of Montombraro, with shops and a swimming pool, is within walking distance. In the surrounding area, there are several restaurants serving delicious local food and wine. We also organize cookery courses for guests who appreciate food, wine, and cooking. During your stay, it is possible to arrange visits to producers of Parmesan cheese, Balsamic vinegar, and local wines. These visits include an English-guided tour followed by tastings. Recommended day trips include Modena, Maranello, Bologna, Florence, Parma, Ferrara, Ravenna, and Rimini.
