Guests describe the house as a magical place with light and airy rooms, a wonderful atmosphere, lovely views and in a perfect location (600m from Porthcothan beach, 3 miles from Watergate Bay and 5 from Padstow). All the main bedrooms and reception rooms face west across the garden to the coast - close enough to hear the surf at high tide. The beds are by Savoir (four are the iconic Savoir No2 commissioned for the Savoy Hotel) which can be arranged as singles or king size doubles, the baths are cast iron, the furnishings tasteful, the paintings original and the kitchen equipment is of the highest standard - with gas fired Aga, separate cooker, Miele machines and even Riedel glasses. You also have a cinema sound system, 3 log fires, a steam shower for 2 and many other features which we won't mention so that they are a surprise.
