The sunroom is a real favourite amongst all those who come and stay as the views it enjoys of the Loch are spectacular. Elegantly decorated, it is a wonderful spot at any time of the day, from the early morning sun to the evening sunset and night stars! Sit yourself down with a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and you may find it hard to leave! ......................................................................................................................................... The sitting room has a couple of cosy sofas and chairs centered around a log burning stove. There's a Smart TV and DVD player for you to use too. Out of the window you can see the Loch and farmers fields. It’s a place to out up your feet and relax. You’re on holiday after all! ......................................................................................................................................... The kitchen is really well kitted out with everything you might need to prepare great meals away from home. There’s an electric cooker, Nespresso coffee machine, four slice toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, sandwich toaster etc and a dining table for five, as well as a large fridge freezer and a dishwasher. Plus loads of pans and knives and plates etc. In the cupboards you’ll find some basic bits, such as oils, spices, tea, coffee, sugar etc as well as some cleaning products. But for all your shopping needs there are plenty of places near by to stock up. There’s some great farm shops nearby with delicious deli produce plus two supermarkets in Kinross - a co-op and Sainsbury’s. You can also arrange for a supermarket delivery too for any of the main brands. We also offer a catering service which can be tailored to suit exactly what you need. We can arrange for meals to be prepared for you at the Lodge – breakfast, lunch or dinner - or some items left in the fridge so all you need to do when you arrive is pop something in the oven, which we’ve found can be a great help, especially after a long journey. If you’d like more info on the catering we do, please just let me know. If you need to do a wash while you are there there’s a washer/dryer as well as an iron and ironing board. But we can also do it for you (to make sure you really get to enjoy your break!). We also have a housekeeping service for those who want a break from any of the everyday chores and want to feel a little bit pampered! The three bedrooms all have dulux Hypnos beds in them and are made up with luxury linens from Soak and Sleep ensuring everyone sleeps really well. The master bedroom is normally made up as a superking double, the second bedroom has twin single beds and then there's a cosy single as the third. However, we have zip n'link mattress so we can change the arrangement if you’d like us to, to all twins or all doubles. Also, for a small extra charge, we can provide an extra bed or a cot. The master bedroom has a great shower/wet room that's ensuite and is wheelchair accessible. There’s also a family bathroom with an overhead electric shower in the bath. We provide large fluffy bath and hand towels too. ......................................................................................................................................... The pretty cottage garden is really sweet; a haven for birds and looks especially lovely in the spring and summer when the roses and all the beds are in full bloom. Both the front and back garden are fully enclosed so safe for children and pets to run about in and enjoy. At the front there is a covered patio area with garden furniture and an outside wood burner. It’s a lovely spot from to watch the view by day and the stars at night! There is also a little garden shed that’s great for storing bikes, golf clubs etc and there's a BBQ in it for guests to use too. ...................................................................................................................................... Guest access There is space for two cars in the driveway by the Lodge but plenty of space between the garden wall and farm for overflow parking if needed too. You will have access to the whole of the Lodge and garden. Other things to note The property is all on one level so is great for young children or anyone who may struggle with stairs. It has been designed to be wheel chair accessible too and we have a ramp for the front door that we can set up for you if needed. ...................................................................................................................................... Dogs and pets are very welcome to come with you although we do have a pet charge. We also respectfully ask, in consideration of other guests who will be staying at the Lodge who may have allergies, that they are not allowed in any of the bedrooms and are kept off the furniture. ...................................................................................................................................... The hire costs include all electricity, bath and bed linens and some basic provisions in the kitchen such as some tea bags and coffee, sugar etc and some general cleaning stuffs. ......................................................................................................................................
