This impressive pet-friendly cottage sleeps six and offers stunning views of the valley, with spacious dining areas both inside and outside. A large living area & an outdoor BBQ hut, it is the ideal choice for bringing all the family The historic market town of Strathaven was granted a Royal Charter in 1450, isituated at the river Avon Water. Approximately 18 miles from Glasgow and directly on the A71, which connects to Edinburgh, Ayrshire & 6 min to the M74 Motorway vibe to Scotland The space Our boutique cottage is conveniently situated for Glasgow International, Prestwick, and Edinburgh airports. We take pride in providing quality furnishings, comfortable beds, high-thread-count bedding, and plush oversized towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Our goal is to offer you a fully equipped, high-end, unique boutique-style cottage that features private parking for up to five vehicles and a spacious outdoor area designed for relaxation and comfort. You can enjoy privacy both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for extended family gatherings in our additional cottages. We have also built a professional outdoor BBQ hut so that you can enjoy barbecuing outside, even in the rain. It's a great spot for after-dinner drinks or a cozy evening with music and a warm fire. We welcome up to three pets (chargeable ) and provide a dedicated field beside the cottage for their enjoyment. Our location is truly fantastic! Nestled in a beautiful, quiet conservation village, it offers its own attractions, including an airfield that offers flying lessons and an annual Hot Air Balloon Festival. The cottage is also ideally positioned in central Scotland. Each year, we host the Super 1 Formula Go-Kart team and welcome guests attending Scotland's only Balloon Festival every August. Guest access We also have a double bedroom and toilet/shower facilities downstairs. We provide a child’s high chair & infant seat riser, a travel cot/mattress/bedding, as well as a full built up cot, a stair gate, baby bath & monotors and a full range of baby products (just in case) we have a large selection of games/puzzles/books/cd’s and a beautiful 26yr old rocking horse to keep even the youngest amused. Boasting a children's private play park, Private parking at the entrance to the cottage is immediately at the door and enjoys an outdoor patio area with garden furniture and plenty of space. Guests can enjoy free access to the award winning Strathaven park complete with a boating pond and Scotlands coal miniature railway. Kitchen & Living Area: The very large living space combines a dining area in the kitchen and a large L-shaped sofa, & 65” wall mounted TV. The kitchen is very well equipped, spacious & well stocked with a washing machine, a separate dryer, dishwasher, integrated eye level oven & built in microwave a wine cooler and a TV. There is also a bedroom & bathroom on the ground floor. Middle Floor: Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom with 2 single beds and an specific office area. Upstairs floor: Beautifully furnished king size bedroom and further bathroom with a “walk in shower” and separate bath with a large dressing area. Guests have full access to the cottage, which has many additional conveniences. Other things to note Contract workers welcome! A must see is the waterfall track, a fresh water pool for swimming & pets. We use a professional cleaning company who do all our change overs and are pleased to provide a self catering starter pack of kitchen products, toilet rolls, condiments etc Only those booked into the property may enter. Properties can be linked together to accommodate larger groups. Usual Check In 3-7pm Day of departure is by 10.00am (Key returned to key safe placed outside) Early or late check out £40.00 if available. FREE WiFi, in excess of 250 MBs download speed supported by Starlink, office area, own drive way/private parking, gardens. Non smoking property (smoking permitted outside) Full range of non-allergy bedding on request. Fishing is within walking distance, a local permit is required for anyone over the age of 13 Parents responsibility for the children's play area & BBQ HUT, children are not permitted to play unaccompanied in the bbq hut. For safety & emergency regulations, only those booked in to the property are allowed. Our pet fee is £45.00 per pet per stay (We use an independent company who professionally pet clean) to avoid any allergies for future guests. An outside tap is on site. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in bedrooms. Outdoor sockets are not car charge points. We do not permit the use of candles. We leave some coals and lighting sticks in the BBQ hut, please clean the BBQ hut throughly after use. Thank you! We are open all year with a warm welcome to all our guests.
