Charming Old Farmhouse at Laharn Dairy

High-quality accommodation steeped in history and character. Full of light and open spaces, it is situated between Macroom and Coachford in the heart of the countryside. Our farmhouse is the perfect sanctuary, a place to unwind and relax, but is also located less than an hour's drive away from many of Cork and Kerry's most popular tourist attractions. The space The Farmhouse at Laharn Dairy Farm has been the homestead of three generations of our Irish farming family for the past 100 years. Now it has been lovingly refurbished by Ger, who grew up in this house, and who now lives next door with his own wife and children. The original internal stone walls have been restored and beautifully finished with cork insulation and lime plaster. Underfloor heating gives the space a warm and welcoming feel all year round. Ultra-modern facilities and lighting blend seamlessly with the quirky, old-style look of the house. The beds are really comfortable (check out our reviews!) and are always dressed with crisp white cotton sheets and cosy duvets. Our guests report that they sleep very well here. We provide fluffy white towels for guests too. Guest access The guests will have full access to the farmhouse - the 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms and living areas. It comes with a kingsize bed in each room but we can add another single bed if required. Other things to note The house has 2 bedrooms and each room has a large double bed. We can fit an extra (smaller) bed into one of the bedrooms if required. If you would like to try some fresh milk from the farm, just ask and we can bring you some!
