Parthenon and New Acropolis Museum are also visible from the living room. The apartment is accessible by elevator and consists of three separate bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, three bathrooms (one of the bathrooms is en-suite), one terrace in the front and one balcony at the back. This modernly decorated apartment is luminous and comfortable, suitable for families, friends, couples and groups and can accommodate up to 8 guests and a baby. While you are entering the house there is a dining room, a spacious living room and a beautiful private terrace with a sitting area and olive trees offering an extraordinary view. At the outdoor dining area, you can enjoy a glass of wine while having in front of you the most magnificent creation of Athenian democracy, the Parthenon, beautifully illuminated at night and full of spectacular colors at dawn and sunset. Next to the living room is a luxurious indoor dining area decorated with wooden elements and glass and equipped with board games. The dominant grey color of the sofa coordinates in a perfect harmony with the modern abstract paintings, the white walls, the wooden table, the parquet floors, the diffuse lighting, the pink chairs and curtains and the silver, black and pink adornments. This apartment features two double bedrooms with a kind double bed and one twin bedroom with two single beds, perfectly equipped with extremely comfortable mattresses, linen and pillows of the finest quality in order to provide an outstanding sleeping experience. All rooms are equipped with air condition devices, closets, and 43’’ 4K SMART TV with a free NETFLIX account available for use. There are also two safe deposit boxes available in each double room. One of the two double bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom with a shower for private use. The apartment features three bathrooms with showers, one of them en-suite. These artistically designed bathrooms will provide you moments of indulgence and relaxation and can perfectly serve 6-8 guests. Each bathroom has been modernly and elegantly designed with a unique combination of black, grey and white elements and wooden surfaces. The bathrooms are fully equipped with towels of high quality, hairdryers, a first aid kit and amenities by the luxurious Greek toiletries brand “Korres” (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body milk and soap) and the indulging brand “ABEA olive oil” originated in the island of Crete. The apartment’s kitchen is fully equipped with Nespresso coffee machine, filter-coffee machine, electric stove, oven, toaster, electric kettle, kitchenware, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, teapot with free tea and herbs, coffee supplies (greek, filter and Nespresso) and cleaning products. The residence has 4 air-condition units, one in the living room and one in each bedroom, as well as central heating operating during winter months. The WIFI is free and available all day. The water is potable. Hot water is available during the whole day. There are also available a washing machine and a dryer, an iron, ironing facilities, umbrellas and an electric blanket (upon request). A baby cot and a baby highchair can be provided and placed in the apartment upon request, at no extra cost. Guest access The apartment, located in the heart of Athens, is easily accessible by all means of public transport, as well as, by car. Tranfer: We can arrange a pick up for you and a transfer from/to the airport/port upon request and at extra cost. Depending on the number of passengers, we can arrange either a taxi (1-3 persons) or a private mini-van (4-7 persons) with an English speaking driver waiting for you with a sign at the arrivals area after customs, help you with your luggage and transfer you directly to the apartment. Public Transportation (please ask for specific directions): Airport You can also use the Metro from the airport (change 2 lines) or a bus from the airport and then take the metro to the apartment (metro station “Acropolis” is 2 minutes away from the house). Port You can also use the train from the port and then take the metro or the tram to the apartment (tram station “Leoforos Vouliagmenis” is 3 minutes away from the house) or directly a bus from the port to the apartment. Depending on your preference we will provide you with detailed directions prior to your arrival. Car: In case you have your own car a 24h parking can be arranged at a nearby trusted parking lot at extra cost (2 minutes walking distance from the apartment). Other things to note CLIMATE RESILIENCE CITY TAX Please take into consideration that the climate resilience city tax has to be paid with cash/euros upon arrival during check in at the apartment. The climate resilience city tax is 2€ per night from 1st of April till 31th of October and 0.50€ per night from 1st of November till 31th of March. Check in & Check out We will welcome you in person at the apartment upon your check in and we will provide you with all the necessary information and tips regarding the apartment appliances, the local area and the city. In order for the apartment to be cleaned and prepared, the check in time is after 16:00 and the check out time is until 11:00 at the morning.
