Medieval walls

Our charming stone house from the 16th century is very central and yet located in a quiet residential area in the middle of the medieval town of Gmünd. The starting point for sports+movement, culture+ enjoyment, peace+ mill walk. Start up! The space Our APARTMENT Die Kirchgasse, which is traversed by the residents, can be reached by the so-called "Maltator". It is not a thoroughfare. Thus, Kirchgasse is a quiet, tranquil residential area. From here you can walk 100 meters to the bakery for the fresh breakfast mud as well as shops, pharmacy, doctor, church, bus stop, galleries, cafes, inns.... The apartment in our house is on the ground floor. So the apartment is also easily accessible for people with disabilities. In the apartment itself, there are also no "obstacles", such as door thresholds. You can reach the apartment by a vault, the so-called "Labn". Our 16th/17th century house still has pointed cap and circular cap vaults. One of them can be seen in your bedroom of the apartment. A few years ago, the house was completely renovated by us and equipped with a pellet heater (floor and wall heating). The holiday apartment has an anteroom with wardrobe, from which you will also come to the bathroom/toilet. Continue to the spacious kitchen-living room with sofa bed, TV, round table and cozy bench and an almost fully equipped kitchen (the dishwasher is missing, the man does the dishes.....or the lady invites you to eat;-)) From the kitchen-living room you come to the spacious vaulted bedroom. Here, 2 people can sleep comfortably in a DOUBLE BED. If you come with THREE or FOUR, there is available in a sofa bed with 200 x 140 cm. Children up to 3 years old stay free of charge. Children from 3-10 years €7,-. Size of the apartment: approx. 60 m2. You can park your car in front of the house or near the house. Guest access The house has a common main entrance. On the GROUND FLOOR, in the vault, is the entrance to the apartment. Our house has a key code system. Other things to note We have ONE bedroom with double BED. In the bedroom there is a sofa bed. Pull-out size 200 x 140cm. In the KITCHEN-LIVING ROOM is a SOFA, with a pull-out size of 200 x 140 cm. Of course, children up to 3 years old live free of charge.
