Welcome to Loch Nest, a peaceful Lake Oconee retreat with a private dock, spacious yard, and covered porch. This pet-friendly home sleeps 8 and offers stunning lake views, a fully stocked kitchen, and a prime location near Hwy 44, Fish Tales Marina, and top dining spots. Just across from the marina and close to the Ritz-Carlton, it's the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The space We are on a quiet cul de sac street and quiet cove surrounded by single family homes and are only .5 mile to Hwy 44 where all of the shops and restaurants are located. At the dock, the water isn’t too deep, so it’s perfect for fishing or kayaking. Our home offers a private covered porch, large grassy yard perfect for playing games with kids, or letting your dog run around and a dock to store your boat during your stay or to tie up your rental boat. The outdoor space includes a gas grill, dining set and fire pit for our guests to use! The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a gas range and microwave to use if you choose to cook during your stay. The kitchen and living room feature stunning views of the lake and yard. The interior of the home has been freshly painted and with new decor, new linens, new furniture, and new sheets and towels and all new flooring. The driveway can accommodate at least 4 cars and your boat trailer or RV. We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and condiments, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and paper towels to get you started. We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case-by-case basis and a $150 pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs are allowed in or on any of the beds or furniture. We are directly across from Fish Tale Marina, where you can fuel up, get supplies and launch your boat, or rent one of theirs! Sleeping Accommodations: Master Bedroom on main level with ensuite bathroom - King Bed Bedroom #2 - King Bed Bedroom #3 – 2 full daybeds with a twin trundle underneath Basement - Separate bonus room with Pull out queen size sofa and desk For the kids we have a variety of board games, books, pool table and Foosball table! We offer an extremely high level of service, flexibility and a ton of amenities not found in most rentals. If you have a specific request, we will do what we can to accommodate you. The longer you stay, the bigger discount we offer! Lake Oconee is amazing every time of the year! From the hiking and biking trails, water sports, fishing, public golfing at Harbor club, jumping off the jumping rock, award-winning restaurants, there is something for everyone! Loch Nest is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ritz gate and very convenient to the Ritz Carlton Lodge and it’s award-winning Ritz Carlton spa. Nearby eateries include Café 44, Filet steak and seafood, silver Moon, iron Fork Café, Lake Oconee bistro and mellow mushroom pizza. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire home Other things to note PESTS: This is Georgia, although the property is regularly treated for bugs, understand that some do find their way in occasionally. Although it’s not common, you may see snakes, ants, spiders or other wildlife around the property. We are available from 9AM to 6PM EST every day, and we make every effort to monitor messages after hours. While there is no on-site or after-hours maintenance or staff, we will always do our best to assist. In the case of an emergency, please contact the appropriate emergency services.
