Kitchen: Breville oven, microwave, full size fridge, Keurig, sink, ice maker, garbage disposal, dual burners, dishwasher, rice m. Sparkly clean and sanitized. Quiet as a library, except when you are running the movie theater. Everything is newly installed during the pandemic down time. The kitchen and laundry room were installed after the pandemic. There are also a hundred restaurants within 2-20 minutes. I'll be happy to give suggestions. The VFW serves a large country breakfast a mile or less away for $8 including coffee or large juice on weekends. We have a lake and jogging/biking/walking path, accessible diagonally across the street. I have an electric car charging station inside the garage. You are welcome, with a week notice, to use it and park inside the garage for $15/night, paid upon arrival. Please simply clean up after yourself and treat the home as you would treat your own and would want your own treated when you have guests. Your entire stay and suite are private, but I'm here when you need me. The backyard has seating, grill and firepit; front yard has (75 lb max capacity) tree swings; a .67 mile walking/jogging/biking path around the lake is accessible through path diagonally across the street. Playgrounds, tennis courts, swimming pool ($3pp) and basketball courts are within walking distance. Parking space is reserved for you in the driveway, and additional street parking in front of the house if preferred. Your private entrance is in the backyard. If you have mobility issues, or if there is winter or wet weather you may enter through the main entrance. Just let me know if you require entry through the main front entrance so that I can send you a code. My daughter and I are both fully COVID-vaccinated and hope you are too. We are very friendly, sociable and talkative however, we likely won't cross paths. I respect that you deserve your time, space and privacy as we also need the same. Your rental is isolated from the rest of the home. In the rare occasion I cook a full meal, I'll always text you to see if you would like some. :) WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE: There is a lake with a .67 mile jogging/biking/walking path diagonally across the street. There are miles of a bike path adjacent to forest park, playgrounds, tennis courts, summer swimming pool ($3pp), and basketball courts. And of course, we have our own movie theater inside the home with tiered seating, new recliners, new popcorn maker and drink refrigerator. We provide the popcorn supplies. THINGS TO DO WITHIN 5-20 MINUTE DRIVE: 3 minutes to miles-long bike path along Prince William Forest Park and 234. This area is a mecca for things to do with children and single adults. We have a few of adult art painting studios and a children's art studio in the area. There are two wineries in opposite directions in the area. The Marine Corps Museum is an exit away. Historic town of Occoquan is 15 minutes away. There is a rock climbing facility, trampoline facility, ZavaZone, Team Tactics, Alamo Drafthouse, Round One adult and kids entertainment complex, parks everywhere, ice skating rink is about 10 minutes away, an outdoor ice rink within a shopping town center is 15 minutes away, a beautiful new library is 5 minutes away, a lake beach is available during off season months, roller skating is about 25 minutes away, horse stables for lessons and stall rental is two streets away, boat cruises, paddle board rental (although we have one you can borrow) the Potomac, jet ski rental about 20 minutes away, Occoquan and Old Town Manassas, Fredericksburg all nearby. Restaurants: Korean, Filipino, Italian, Pho, Chinese, Greek, Indian, tons of US restaurants, Japanese, German, French and others. Mosque, synagogue close by next to the horse farm, temple close by, tons of churches. Lots of gyms. 24 Hour Fitness is closest - about 2 miles away. Wegmans down the road about 20 minutes. Aldi about 10 minutes. Food Lion, LIDL, Target, SFW is 1/2 mile to 4 miles away. Whole Foods is in planning stages. Rosie's Casino complex is 10 minutes away. 20 minutes away from Potomac Mills Mall. Target and Walmart is close by as well. Lots of hospitals and urgent care facilities. Very diverse neighborhood and area. Two lake beaches within minutes for use between labor and memorial days (off season). The PWC Aquatic Center with large slide, tot pool playground area and large pool with diving boards is about 10 minutes down the street. Plus several waterparks are in the area, one is 10 minutes away. Jiffy Lube Live is approximately 25 minutes down the same street off of which we live. Train station is 20 minutes away. Metro is 30 minutes away. There is a pottery wheel and splatter paint studio 25 minutes away. Early prepaid check in and late prepaid check out available for $10/hr available upon request beforehand. SANITIZING & CLEANING: Provided you clean up after yourself, our cleaning/sanitization fee is a low, $100. Please gather your trash before your departure and place your bagged trash in front of the garage. For long term stays, our trash service comes Tuesdays and Fridays, early morning. Feel free to add your trash bags to the trashcan on your way into work or touring or leave them anytime in front of the garage. Please gather all linens you used such as towels, wash clothes, hand towels, rags, sponges, theater blankets, mop towels, sheets, pillow cases, shams, and comforters that need to be laundered and place in a single pile in the laundry room, away from the utility equipment/AC/heater/hot water heater. Please start the first load before you leave. Please leave the home as clean as it was when you arrived. There are plenty of cleaning supplies in your suite, a vacuum cleaner, mop, rags, trash bags, sponge, toilet scrub brush, plunger etc. provided. PLEASE wipe up and throw away your hair. $100 does not cover cleaning messes but the general deeper cleaning and sanitization, laundromat visit for your comforters and pillows.
