The Tree Dome

Nestled under a canopy of trees on an elevated platform, our Tree Dome offers the simple joys of the great outdoors with the benefit of luxurious glamping accommodation. For nature cravers, adventure chasers, peace and quiet seekers, star gazers and memory makers. Set within 45 acres of private secluded woodland with many walks on the doorstep. The setting is in natural woodland. There is very little light pollution which enables guests to enjoy clear starry skies weather permitting. The space This luxurious glamping accommodation features a king size four poster bed with plush pillows and a luxuriously cosy duvet, a dining room table and chairs, a comfy sofa, sideboard and tea and coffee making facilities. If children are accompanying you there are 2 x blow up beds and bedding provided. There is a full suite of outside furniture including a large sofa, coffee table as well as a dining table and 4 chairs. We have a spa hot tub with lights and bubbles which is built into the deck (£65 Extra Charge). The hot tub will be lit on your day of arrival and includes one basket of logs. Extra logs can be purchased from the main house for £7 per bag. Please note the hot tub is open to the air so that users can enjoy the trees, sky, stars and the rain when it comes (£65.00 extra charge to be paid by bank transfer or cash on arrival. Once agreed the hot tub cannot be cancelled unless 48 hours clear notice is given prior to arrival), BBQ, pizza pack (£20 extra charge to be paid by bank transfer or cash on arrival) Early check in or check out may be arranged by prior arrangement £25 ask for details. There is a private bathroom with a steaming hot shower, a flushing toilet and convenient kitchenette. Facilities in the kitchen include; Microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with a small freezer. There is no electric oven. We also have a pizza oven available for hire £20 additional charge including 4 hand made pizza dough balls subject to availability. All dogs welcome (max 3 per booking) extra charge £25 per dog to be paid by cash on arrival. All dog owners must adhere to our dog policy copies of which are available on request. Please provide a valid email address when requesting this. STRICTLY Dogs are NOT allowed on furniture. Dog sitting service by prior arrangement. There are plenty of walks in the surrounding area for dogs and people. Any damage caused by dogs will be charged accordingly. For this reason artificial light in the natural environment is kept to a minimum. Guest access Due to the natural terrain, our glamping domes are not suitable for people with mobility problems/disabilities. Other things to note The hot tub is an additional £65.00 charge, payable direct. We need at least 48 hours notice. Please note that once ordered, the hot tub must be cancelled 24 hours before arrival in writing otherwise the payment will be due (even if you no longer wish to use it. This is because it takes 4 hours to prepare). Pizza oven is an extra £20 charge and includes all the pizza equipment, fire lighting kit and dough balls. Sorry we cannot cater for gluten free. Guests travelling with children are reminded the dome sits on an elevated platform. Parental supervision is therefore required. All wood for the log burner is kiln dried. Guests can purchase a fire lighting kit for your log burner at an additional charge of £10. This includes fire lighters, kindling and one bag of logs. You can also bring your own, but the wood must be strictly KILN DRIED. Guests are reminded that this is a glamping experience and the main source of cooking is a BBQ, microwave and Toaster/Kettle. Main source of heating is a log burner. All dogs welcome at £25 per dog and payment is PAYABLE DIRECT. All dogs must be declared before arrival. Bank Details are provided in the Welcome Book so that guests can choose their method of payment for extras. * All extras MUST be paid for prior to leaving the property. Guests are reminded that this is a glamping experience. The main source of cooking is a bbq outside on the decking area. The main source of heating is a log burner and in colder temperatures guests must be prepared for colder evenings with warm clothing such as slippers and a fleece dressing gown. Logs are not included in the price and must be pre ordered at £6.00 per basket. Please note that glamping is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN IN WINTER (January/February/March). Bookings in winter with children will only be accepted by prior agreement. Please note that a positive covid test no longer restricts travel, therefore no refunds can be given for guests who do not wish to travel. Please ensure you have the appropriate medical/travel insurance. All guests are required to sign terms and conditions before checking into the property. These will be sent via email prior to your arrival.
