PLEASE NOTE: must climb indoor stairs to enter Loft -Host lives in separate home on the property and can be contacted anytime to assist with any problems that arise or answer any questions on local attractions/activities. We HIGHLY respect the privacy of our guests and our policy is to leave guests alone to enjoy their stay unless they contact us - we are always available if you need us or you just want to say hello and visit with us! -Any requested additional towels or linens will be provided at no charge. Full/free cleaning/housekeeping service during multiple night stays is available upon request with no additional service charge. We never enter the Loft during a guests stay unless requested. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is a very desirable neighborhood due to it's close proximity to downtown Homer (walking distance) and it's elevation above the town (while still being in-town) which affords spectacular views. There are only a few homes on this quiet hillside cull-du-sac with very little street traffic. There are Sandhill Cranes that nest in the neighborhood & moose that wander about in town. Much less frequent, black bears occasionally are sighted in town, but very rarely are a nuisance. The Loft is in the heart of "in-town" Homer, walking distance to Pioneer Avenue, Main St., Bunnell St., close to shopping, grocery, restaurants, bars, art galleries, Pratt Museum and Bishop's Beach. Less than 3 minute drive to South Peninsula Hospital and Bartlett St. medical and professional offices. The Loft is just 3 miles from the base of the Homer Spit. There are local taxi operators and also a seasonal Trolley that services transportation between Pioneer Ave. (downtown Homer) and the Homer Spit on a regular schedule. Rental car options are also available in Homer. Also a bike rental shop is within walking distance of the Loft. - NO SMOKING and NO VAPING or E-cigarettes in the Loft. - NO PETS allowed on the property - NO FISH CLEANING (gutting) in the Loft or on the property. There are cleaning stations located on the Homer Spit for no-charge self-cleaning and commercial processors available in town and on the Homer Spit. - NO PARTIES/ADDITIONAL GUESTS without advance approval from host, additional guest charge $55/guest.
