45 min to La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano. This single family home is a magical place, nestled in an quiet setting, with soothing views of the Tilaran mountains, and lake Arenal. Costarican coffee provided and a fruit basket!! Breakfast to a nearby restaurant is provided for the first morning, up to 4 guests when staying 2+ nights. Neighboring towns are: Tilaran, Aguacate, & Nuevo Arenal. You can visit El Tenorio & Arenal volcanos, zip lining, hot springs, cloud forest, Rio Celeste, +beaches. The space The moment you enter this home, the energy is peaceful and serene. We are located inside a private community with a security guard. The community is off the main road 142. The house is 45 minutes from the tourist sections of La Fortuna, and it has more of a local quiet, homey, cozy feel. As you get into the main entrance, you will encounter some sections paved and some on gravel or unpaved. It is part of the beauty of the area. The house is equipped with children's coloring books, board, and card games. Equiped with WIFI, alarm, AC, Washer/Dryer w detergent, screen windows and doors, hot water, shampoo, soap, towels and clean linnen, tab water is safe, BBQ, community pool, cable TV, enclosed balcony, and fully equipped kitchen. We also have Kayaks. Plan for a 5 min drive to the nearest restaurant, El Corral Steak house in Aguacate (where the house is). Rio Piedras, to the west, and Nuevo Arenal, to the east, have several local Tico restaurants as well. Many tourist activities are in La Fortuna, 40 minutes from the house. Horse backridding and ziplining in the local area. Wildlife is experienced and appreciated around the house property and surroundings. Howler monkeys and beautiful birds are heard and seen in our backyard. The main floor opens to a spacious kitchen with granite countertops, beautiful cabinetry, modern appliances, kitchen cookware, and all you need to prepare family meals. The tap water is safe. There is also a dining table, living room space with comfortable couches and a bathroom on this floor. Clean towels and toiletry are provided. The waterfall showers have hot water on demand. There are ceiling fans and ACs units throughout the home. The upstairs floor has 2 large bedrooms and a small bedroom. The master bedroom opens to an enclosed balcony that allows you to enjoy your morning coffee/tea (provided) while contemplating the lake views and hearing and seeing many different types of birds, like the toucans, for example. There is a second bathroom on this floor as well. The bottom floor has a 4th bedroom, ceiling to floor glass panels/walls. The guests have expressed their total satisfaction to open their eyes in the morning and feel they are in the middle of the forest with the greenery that can be appreciated in this room. There is an AC unit on this floor as well. The house accommodates large families of up to 9 adults and 2-3 small children. Baby playpen and air mattresses are available. It is located in a quiet, family oriented private and guarded community. Totally connected to nature, this home sits in the middle of a "bosque". Casa Isabelita is a well maintained and clean home for you to completely enjoy your visit. There are several beautiful beaches in Guanacaste on the Pacific coast. We love Playa Tamarindo, Playa Conchal, Playa del Coco, and Playa Hermosa. This last one is about 1.5 hours west from the house. Casa Isabelita is 1.5 hours from (LIR) Liberia airport and 3.5 hours from SJO (San Jose/Alajuela) airport. Monteverde cloud forest is 2 hours from the house. Guest access The community infinity pool is available to the guests until 7 pm. It can be accessed by walking to the backyard of the house and following the walking trail 30 meters from the house. It can also be accessed by a car by going thru the guard house. The marina is about 500 meters within walking distance from the house. 2 large Kayaks are available to our guests for no cost. Close to Arenal volcano inside the Arenal Observatory. Activities include ziplining and visiting the hotsprings in La Fortuna. Great for serenity and great for nature activities. Goadventure Arenal has a webpage. We have gone canopy/zip lining with them and enjoyed it very much. Monteverde is about 1 hour and 45 min away. The beautiful beaches of the Pacific are 2 hours from the house. Major towns of La Fortuna and Tilaran are 45 minutes away for nightlife. Hiking, bird watching, or canoeing activities can be found around La Fortuna. The Arenal Observatory in La Fortuna, for example, has tours and other activities. Mistico Arenal has many activities. Check out their site. They have from hanging bridges to toured forest hiking trips to boat rides. We love this place. Hot springs: We have visited Baldi several times.
