Green Gables Farmhouse is a 5 minute drive to Baddeck & entrance to The Cabot Trail. Or...Relax here in the middle of a 15 acre meadow view- use WIFI and Cable TV. The second floor has received a renovation- new roof and dormers -more open, airy and bright! The space Our historic farmhouse used to be part of a working farm just outside the village of Baddeck. The first floor offers a family room, den with wood fireplace, an eat in kitchen and pantry, and an adjacent office/ futon bed. The second floor location has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is also an outdoor shower for those interested in a morning shower or moonlit shower experience. Pets accepted for $150 fee. There is a 4 bed bunkhouse within steps of the house for an additional $150 fee that covers the set up and 4 bed linens laundering. There are other picturesque farm buildings on the property- not for renters use- but enhance the tranquil view of the 37 acre property. Guest access The cottage is most easily accessed through the back door into the laundry/mudroom area and into the kitchen. Lockbox on door holds back door key. Easy entry! Other things to note Pets allowed with approval of owner and additional fee. No smoking No parties Please keep the house neat and tidy- use bags for recycling.
