The pet friendly cabin has a wood-fired sauna, king sized bed, modern propane appliances and over fourteen km of maintained hiking/snowshoes trails for guests to enjoy. Located 25 minutes from Salmon Arm and Enderby, and 10 minutes from the Larch Hills Nordic ski trails. Proudly offering eco-friendly, glamping and off-grid accommodations. Unplug ~ Hike ~ Sauna ~ Repeat The space Wild Rose Cabin is nestled on 160 wooded acres overlooking the Shuswap River and North Okanagan Valley. This private cabin in the wood is equipped with modern propane lights and appliances, a king sized bed with cozy duvets and cotton sheets, wood fireplace, private sauna + sauna robes and kilometres of onsite trails to explore. With the Larch Hills Nordic ski trails just 10 minutes away, you can easily access world-class trails and then unwind in the cozy sauna, surrounded by nature. The proximity to Salmon Arm and Enderby also offers plenty of opportunities for exploration and dining. Wild Rose offers a unique and charming getaway experience, despite the lack of modern amenities like electricity and running water. Instead, the cabin provides a cozy and glamorous atmosphere, with modern propane lights and appliances and clean water provided for guests' comfort. Wild Rose Cabin offers a private sauna, a perfect way to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the outdoors. Note that there is a fee for sauna usage $30 and campfire wood $20. **During fire bans in the summer months the sauna may not be available** Nature bathing, birding, trail running, saunaing in your own private woodland spa, nature at your doorstep. Firewood is provided to heat the cabin. *Cabin is heated with wood and firewood is included in the rental fee. *Please let us know if you'd like to use the sauna and fire-pit during your stay* **In the winter 4wd is recommended. Pets are welcome at a $25 per pet charge. Guest access You're welcome to hike and snowshoe around the 160 acre retreat, there are some beautiful trails and view points. Other things to note ****In the winter the cabin is heated with wood. It is up to the guest to light and maintain fires after check in**** 4WD is highly recommended for winter bookings***** We are a semi remote nature retreat, and there may be other guests on the property enjoying the quite natural setting, so please be conscious of that.
