Come experience a true log cabin experience! Southern Comfort Cabin is your peaceful, quiet retreat from life's everyday stresses. The cabin is accessible to everything East TN has to offer - Dollywood, Gatlinburg, great hiking trails, rafting, waterfalls, ziplining, shopping, dining, llama treks and more! We are located on one level acre with a small creek! The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just down the road so come make mountain memories in Southern Comfort! The space Since this is our 2nd home, we take pride in making sure it's very clean, comfortable, and has everything you could need. We also visit frequently to insure it's well taken care of and maintenance is up-to-date :) Amenities include: Large Hot Tub Fire pit with free firewood (1 starter log provided) Creekside (not for fishing) Indoor gas fireplace (Nov 15 to Mar 15) Super fast Wi-Fi Fully stocked kitchen Free coffee, tea, sugar, non-dairy creamer, oil and a large variety of spices. 3 Smart TVs & a huge collection of DVDs BBQ grill Foosball table in loft Corn hole game, family board games, playing cards. DVD's in case the wi-fi goes out! 2 Covered porches Swing and rocking chairs Carport for 2 cars Level one acre yard to let kids of all ages play! Washer/Dryer with free detergent Sleeps a maximum of 6 adults. 2 queen bedrooms, 2 twin beds (trundle bed) in loft, small futon, and one air mattress. I provide a gel topper for the futon. After a busy day of sightseeing or whitewater rafting, return to your quiet cabin and build a fire in the fire pit, make some s'mores, or just hang out under the stars. How about a friendly game of corn hole? On cold fall or winter nights, turn on the fireplace (Nov 15 to March 15) and cuddle up with your sweetheart or soak your cares away in the hot tub on the covered deck. Cook up some burgers or a steak on the grill and enjoy them at the picnic table. Kids of all ages will enjoy the creek and the large 1 acre yard to play in! 1,200 sq ft cabin in an open concept kitchen and living area plus loft. 10% Discount for weekly stays. 25% discount on monthly stays. Newport also has many dining choices. Need some groceries? No problem! There is a BRAND NEW Dollar General just 5 minutes from the cabin with groceries, drinks, snacks and breakfast items. You can also get fresh veggies, jams and jellies at Carver's Produce just down the road. Walmart is a 15 min drive in Newport. Easy access in winter!
